Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

We stayed at Laurence's for an evening. Communication with Laurence was very smooth and pleasant before our arrival. The property is very beautiful and the suite was impeccable. An oasis of tranquility and nature. We were able to observe the hoopoe, woodpecker and oriole directly, which was great. The cottage directly on the forest, more spacious than expected, comfortable large bed, everything comfortable and stylishly furnished. Friendly and helpful welcome with fresh strawberries and good tips from Francois and caring communication with Michele. We felt very comfortable.
