This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Graft-De Rijp is a lovely historical Dutch town. B & B Mooie Dromen (Sweet Dreams) is centrally located in North Holland. Within half an hour you'll be in the centre of Amsterdam but also in Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans. We offer you a spacious private guest house in a beautiful surrounding. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

B&B between the horses! Near beach & Alkmaar

Experience the outdoor feeling on the farm and come and stay in 't Paardenhuysje! This cozy accommodation is located in the stables, overlooking the animals. Equipped with a modern bathroom, a wonderfully large double bed, a dining/sitting area and a kitchenette. It is possible to book an extensive breakfast for €10 euros per person per day. We will bring this by in the morning. It is also possible to bring your own horses! Beach & Alkmaar are close! Rate €20 per night.

Parking is available on private, enclosed property, and bicycles can be stored inside.

At the end of a dead-end road at the bottom of the dike overlooking the "Eilandspolder" nature reserve and a 5-minute walk from the "de Havik" mill, hidden between the reeds and right on the ring canal, is the "De Smid" vacation home. 30-minute drive from Amsterdam Noord. 30-minute drive from the Noord Zeestrand. Free Two canoes to sail. Towels/tea towels/bed linen/pans/cutlery/pepper & salt. Double bed (extra 1 person fold-out bed for child up to 1.65)

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
