What a beautiful warm, spacious chalet, with a magnificent view. The outdoor property is also large and sunny. Sylvie and Leila respond quickly to messages. Convenience store nearby. We will be back without hesitation.

Was a very beautiful and comfortable space. Looks even better in person than the photos! We were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. The kitchen had everything you need to cook all your meals. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay!

What a great spot - so peaceful. The house is enormous, inviting, and comfortable. It was just me staying there for one night so way more house than I needed, but it beat the heck out of a hotel for the night. Despite the odd knicks and scratches of an older home, the place is wonderfully clean and the bed I slept in was very comfy - ah the silence of the countryside with the window wide open.

Staying at this home was a truly memorable experience. The house dates back to the late 1800s, and that historic charm made our stay feel incredibly special. It’s beautifully preserved with thoughtful touches throughout, and the spacious layout—with plenty of rooms—made it both comfortable and welcoming. If you’re looking for a unique and charming place to stay, I highly recommend it!

Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. The house was equipped with everything and anything you need and had all amenities .The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and cozy gateway

Nice welcome from our host, peaceful and quiet place. The chalet was comfortable in every way for us and our dog who loved to swim in the river. Everything was perfect for a good time with the family. Thank you very much.

The place was super cozy and had a really welcoming vibe—just perfect for a summer break. Also, Sophie was a great host, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I hope to find the cabin in future as well for my next visit.

We had a lovely time here! The hot tub is such a lovely bonus and there were all the amenities listed and more! We had neighbors and this did not affect our stay at all! I would 100% stay again!

Very clean and very nice apartment, peaceful place. Shops (Metro, Dollarama, Tim Hortons…) 10 minutes' drive.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Always available and attentive, they did not hesitate to lend us personal belongings, to help us in different situations and to ensure that our stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Their generosity and hospitality really marked our time here. Beyond their incredible helpfulness, they are people of great sympathy, with whom it is simply nice to exchange and share moments. A perfect stay in an enchanting setting! The log cabin is beautiful, bathed in light thanks to abundant fenestration. The calm of the place, the indoor fireplace, the animals that roam freely around... everything was together for a total healing. We even scratched a little guitar by the fire — a magical moment. We leave our hearts light and filled with beautiful energy. Thanks for a great getaway!

We really anjoyed our stay. Ashley was super responsive, kind, and very helpful. The place was really nice, well equipped, and really clean. The hot tub was great and the patio next to the river was a great place to hang out!

Very good and beautiful stay at Emmanuel's chalet. Especially since dogs are allowed which is really much appreciated. A real pleasure of healing and fullness. Chalet with rustic decor that immerses us perfectly in the atmosphere. The corner of the outdoor fire perfect for enjoying getting around under the stars. And the spa with the river view is the highlight of the show! We recommend eyes closed.

What a beautiful chalet!! It had almost every single thing we could've possibly needed. Secluded, far away neighbours (exactly what we were looking for). Gorgeous hot tub, cozey and clean kitchen, living room. Had 1 issue with the lock combination not working, but didn't last too long. Living room bug screen had holes, and there were dirty "leftovers" in the washing machine's filter from previous guests (floss stick, hairs). Otherwise, very clean!! Several towels available after all, so we didn't have to bring our own. LOTS OF MOSUITOS & INSECTS!! Please come prepared lol. Overall super happy with our stay, very very nice cottage, sould love to go back during another season with less bugs. Merci Daniel! :)

Great stay to disconnect in the middle of winter, we loved the peacefulness of the place and the comfort of the accommodation! The jaccuzi was very nice, as were the small hiking trails (feasible in snowshoes or boots depending on the area). We'll try to come back in summer to see the 2 seasons! Thanks again for the hospitality and arrangements.
