Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

I recommend it without hesitating! Incredibly large accommodation, an equally large and beautiful exterior! What a joy to have been able to spend our vacation here, our most beautiful vacation home compared to everything we have rented in the past! the house is very well located, a fold is really the large terrace with a superb life to make barbecues. We had a nice comfortable weekend at Didier's.

We had a pleasant stay in this villa in Ardèche! Perfect for 6 people, it is ideally located, making it easy to explore the region and its beautiful landscapes. The house is very well equipped: a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and spacious and bright common areas. We particularly enjoyed the terrace, ideal for our outdoor meals, and the pool that allowed us to cool off after our days of excursions as well as the petanque court which is a plus! We recommend this villa 100%!

Spacious cottage, very well equipped and decorated, beautiful estate, a shame the weather did not allow us to use the beautiful pool. The videos made by Emma to facilitate our arrival were clear and accurate hence a smooth arrival. The books available to us were particularly appreciated by my mom and our dog was able to participate in our stay!!!! since here dogs are allowed!!! Very good stay, I would highly recommend .

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

What a fantastic week we had with 14 adults! We were there with our family and the house really offered all the space to enjoy together and to retreat from time to time. It is spacious, stylish and super comfortable, with nice bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and cozy corners to sit together. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite place: cooking, eating and drinking in the evening sun. The area is beautiful. We went canoeing, visited vineyards and caves, but to be honest, the pool was so nice that we often just stayed at home. And with a table tennis table and boules court, you really don't have to be bored for a moment. Eric and Yasmina are incredibly friendly and welcoming and are always ready to help. Francois, the owner, is warm and makes you feel welcome right away. Everything was right in this place. We would definitely come back again!

We had a great stay, the setting is beautiful with a beautiful view and tranquility, the accommodation is perfect and well decorated, we enjoyed the plancha of the hot tub and pool. the host is super responsive to any requests. i highly recommend this place.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Very pleasant family stay in a green and quiet landscape and a spacious, well appointed and very functional house. Isabelle is a welcoming and available host.

This place isn’t just beautiful, it’s incredibly serene. The cottage is surrounded by nature, and what stood out to me most was the view from the cottage itself, especially in the morning. My favorite spot to read and relax was the hammock by the garden, just beside the pool. The nearest town, Barjac, is a charming historic city with excellent restaurants. Nel and Thierry were warm and welcoming hosts, and our dog loved playing with their golden retriever. My husband and I had a truly wonderful time here.

Such a beautiful house and location, in rural surroundings. We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful to relax and unwind as a family and two dogs. This place ticked all of our boxes and more. The local village is 5 minutes drive away and has every amenity you could wish for. Thank you for hosting us - we will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Great spot to stay in the Ardeche! The house is clean and well located between Ruoms and labeume - which are both beautiful! There’s also amazing walks and river swimming spots within 5 mins walk. The house is modern and very clean and comfortable. You could not ask for more from an Airbnb host - Cathy was responsive and very pleasant to communicate with

We had a lovely stay with the family... The house is warm, very clean and very beautiful with a distant view of the Chauvet cave and the mountains. This house is a haven of peace and total relaxation. The host is very responsive and attentive. We highly recommend it.

Excellent two week stay in Olivier’s lovely apartment. Beautifully renovated to give a great mix of modern and character. The stone walls are beautiful. Overall very spacious - two large bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. Kitchen dining area enormous. Jacuzzi and roof terrace a bonus. There are lots of stairs as noted but very manageable. There is great safe and accessible bike storage and riding from the front door fabulous. Oliver was very responsive both before and after booking and check in. On request supplied us with a filter coffee machine. Barjac is a charming village close to the Ardeche and Cèze rivers for all manner of outdoor activities. Overall a fabulous stay, well recommended. Very good weekend in Grignan, Jean Loup's house is very nice and tastefully decorated. Breakfast on the very nice terrace. The village is accessible in 4 min on foot and it is easy to park near the house. Jean Loup is a very nice, warm host, you feel like you're coming on holiday with friends! This stay was a real joy, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralizes everything necessary for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, to summarize, it is wonderfully good. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, we just listen to the little birds that lull us to sleep. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby! You can book with your eyes closed and without hesitation: you will return conquered. Thanks again to Sylvain, his mom, and our host Michel for this place designed for the well-being of all.

We had a great stay in a beautiful house, very clean and surrounded by a nice garden. The location is ideal for exploring Labeaume and the dolmens on foot. Hélène, our hostess, was very welcoming, available and pleasant in our exchanges. We felt very welcome and recommend this accommodation with pleasure!
