Holiday rentals with beach access in Great Yarmouth District

This was our second time staying at Laura’s place. It’s a great spot, close to beach and town and perfect for our young family (children aged 5 and 3). Hopefully we’ll be back again!

The views from the apartments are just phenomenal at any time of day you can watch the world go by, see the sunrise and the sunset with a glass of wine in your own comfortable and private space. The location is set right on the promenade with your own parking space supplied by the booking and from there, you can walk everywhere in Cromer to all the facilities including pubs, restaurants, the pier, cafés, bars etc. Park the car and leave it there for your whole stay, Cromer has really good bus and train links up and down the coast. Excellent walking from the apartment across the coast paths: turn left and walk for about an hour for Craigie Bottoms restaurant (excelkent seafood) or turn right on the coast path and do a long circular walk towards Gunton (3-4hours) where there is spectacular countryside, easy walking and some fabulous country pubs. This apartment is of an excellent quality, perfectly located and the host is very friendly, would highly recommend for a quality stay.

A return visit from 2 years ago revealed all the things we first enjoyed about Paul’s place remained and that the interior had been maintained to the same clean and bright standard as before. Well provisioned and a high standard of furnishings made us feel comfortable from the off. The very short walk into town and the beach is a real feature of this place. We will definitely return.

Great place right at the centre in Cromer and around all the local pubs and attractions. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again in the future.

Great location for the beach and the local pub which served good pub food but you need to book for the restaurant. Accommodation as described, clean & comfortable. Water pressure superb, best shower ever & washer/dryer very welcome after an afternoon on the beach. Would be happy to recommend to friends & family.

Recommended! Lovely flat, close to shops, pubs, restaurants, sea front & pier. Perfect location. Flat well equipped, clean and spacious. Red Lion pub was a hit with us.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

We had a lovely time, the location was great for visiting the local attractions. The house was lovely, lots of room for us all (5), with a very attractive garden during the day but even prettier at night, with great views over the fields and friendly hosts. Couldn't ask for more.

Another fabulous stay at La Capanna. We walked on the nearby beach every day which was a big part of our holiday. We left feeling relaxed and rested. Will definitely be back again.

Just finished a very relaxing few days and it was everything we could have hoped for. Stunning view and so peaceful! Caravan had everything we needed. Spotless and clean. So sad to leave and am already wondering when I could next come and stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Sara.

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon house. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. So close to the beach and amenities! Great having space for 2 cars off street parking too, made unloading/ loading much easier.

This is the second time I have stayed at Amanda's home. Set over three floors, it is an excellent place to live comfortably. This is the first time i have taken a pet, and she was very well behaved. Because the house is in a lovely neighbourhood we acknowledge sound curfews, and we were very careful not to disturb any of the neighbours. Cars are easily parked and generally safe. A perfect place to stay, where we enjoy walks and the local maritime features. The Gorleston-on-Sea beach has to be the best ever. I always like to leave a place as i found it, and I don't think our host will be in anyway disappointed that we left it beautifully clean. Thank you to our lovely host, and we hope to visit again.

Great place to stay only thing I did not like was and this is Not Ian's fault the track way was over grown and having to drive down it the car got scratches on it every time I came back . but the place was great

Spent an enjoyable week in this lovely apartment with fantastic sea views from every window. Really enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea on an evening. The apartment was spacious and well fitted out (even a full length mirror which most hosts do not provide). The whole apartment was spotless with an easy walk to shops and bars/restaurants. We decided to park in front of the apartments rather than using the underground garage as the access was a little tight for the larger car. We had no problems parking and generally a space was available along the street if we went out for the day. Check in went smoothly and it was very nice to have the use of a lift as we were on the second floor. There was renovation work going on in the children’s playground in front of the building but this wasn’t really a problem as the workers finished work at 4pm every day - sorry we never saw the finished playground before we left as think it will be a useful facility.

This is the second time we've stayed at this apartment and we've really enjoyed both times. It is superbly located just off Cromer centre, so easy access to shops and restaurants, but also very quiet. The apartment is well appointed and spacious and feels very homely. Fran and David are responsive and friendly in their communication. Overall: excellent.

Check-in and communication was perfect. The flat an garden are wonderful, there is everything you need and more. When I arrived, there were cookies, chips and a bottle of wine plus a nice card greeting me. There was a shelf full of novels to choose from. The house is very near the seafront and the town centre. I hugely enjoyed my stay and warmly recommend Emma's house. Free parking in the street to be found.

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

Fabulously stylish apartment, brilliant central Location. Superbly appointed: comprehensive kitchen utensils, really comfy beds and sofas. And when we asked for the bedding to be swapped out (our fault entirely, we forgot to Mention a feather allergy) the hosts came over within half an hour to make the change. I wholeheartedly and highly recommend this lovely apartment.

The flat was decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen was equipped with a microwave, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and a toaster in perfect working order. A range of crockery, cutlery, cups and glasses were provided. Some beach related items were also stored in the kitchen. The bedroom has a WC, shower and an illuminated mirror. There is also a bedroom with two single beds with clothes storage. The lounge has a three-piece suite, smart tv with a range of free to air channels. There is a blu ray player and a stereo, some board games is also provided. There is also a separate toilet in the flat. The double bed has storage for clothes. Anyone can use this flat and can be assured that it will be money well spent. Liz is on-hand by phone should you need assistance. A flat that the owner can be proud of.
