Family-friendly holiday rentals in Grimsby

Just stayed here for 5 days with family and grandchildren, we loved the hot tub impecibly clean and house well equipped with all we needed. Lots of space for us all, very nicely decorated with lovely touches like the welcome pack. Would definitely recommend and we would stay again. Just a little thing and this isn't a criticism, a parasol of some sort would have been good for a bit of shade.

We all just wanted to say a huge thank you. From the moment we made the booking right through to the end of our stay, we were thoroughly impressed with the communication, the absolutely stunning barn, and all the thoughtful little touches. We were there to celebrate a hen do, and it was all a surprise for the bride. To say she was blown away by the barn would be an understatement – we all were! We’e never stayed anywhere so beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need – and more. The barn itself and the surrounding area were simply gorgeous. The hot tub was the largest any of us had ever seen, and the amount of space – both inside and out – was incredible. The lovely ladies who welcomed us made us feel at home the moment we arrived. It’s in a perfect location: close to everything, yet it feels like your own peaceful little retreat. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay. The location was very peaceful and in beautiful countryside. Great for walks with the dog. Hot tub was a perfect way to relax. We would definitely visit again.

Great place to stay. Lovely surroundings, friendly working farm, my kids loved seeing the piglets and feeding them. A walk into Lincoln in just over an hour, through the fields, brilliant. Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

We were looking for a private quiet relaxing weekend and across the hidden gem that ticked all the boxes.Jayne and Stuart were really welcoming and on hand if we needed anything.Highly recommend the dairy barn was immaculate and the hot tub was amazing not to mention the Inn on the green which was located at the bottom of the drive.If you are looking for a quiet getaway then this place comes 100% recommended with first class hosts Darren and Hazel from Sheffield.

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

A wonderful place to relax. Quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. We did not want for anything. A lovely private courtyard garden with the added bonus of a hot tub and a safe space for our little dog. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage.

Fabulous stay at Joy’s place. Absolutely beautiful house with everything you could need and more. Great location within walking distance of cathedral and castle. Some great recommendations for restaurants. All in all a great stay at a great place. Thank you so much Joy. 🤩

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking distance to all attractions like Lincoln Castle( literally on the door step) Lincoln Cathedral and Steep Hill. Lovely pubs and restaurants very close to the cottage. A fantastic park just across the road if like us you are travelling with a dog, it’s perfect for morning walks! Be sure to check out the beautiful community gardens just off the park. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable! A very well equipped kitchen and lovely lemon muffins to welcome us and some treats for our dog too! ❤️ Thank you Leah and Kevin for all the amazing and detailed information before we arrived and for a lovely stay in Lincoln.

We had a wonderful break here and it worked as the perfect base for our long weekend visiting Cadwell Park. We will certainly be back and would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area to strongly consider the Shamba, it truly was an idyllic setting and had everything we needed.

Great experience for a real life in quiet and beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. Very clean and cosy room, easy check in and easy communication with Louise.

Wonderful stay and the cabin was perfect, adjacent to the village pub. The cabin was owned by the village pub, which had welcoming locals and served great food. We will definitely be rebooking later in the summer.

Enjoyed the walks , so close to the beach , relaxing and cosy home.

We stayed at Clemetis Cottage for one week. We arrived with clear arrival instructions and a wonderful welcome which included all sorts of treats, such as wine and chocolates, the dog even had his own bag of treats, such a lovely start to our trip. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was really well stocked with glasses, crockery and staple foods. I had to work in Lincoln and coming back to the cottage each night was such a treat. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with a tearoom next door, a great pub and lots of country walks. Tealby is a great village and very conveniently situated for visiting the coast and other parts of Lincolnshire. We hope to return, we loved it so much.

Very nice, clean and cosy place.. inside the cottage very clean and you will find all you need.. Lack of walkways around was the only concern and a bit to close to the main road. Other then that all perfect

15 minute drive to the auditorium where we were working for the week. Comfy bed, good shower, plenty of parking. 4 double beds, 4 sets of keys so we could come and go as we please. No complaints from us. Great everything. Thanks very much.

I stayed here for 10 weeks while working temporarily in Hull - it was perfect! The flat was cosy, quiet, safe, and very convenient for walking around Beverley and for getting to shops, the railway station, the bus station etc. Parking was around the corner at the ASDA carpark, which was also very safe and convenient - about a ten minute walk away and there was also some on-street parking near the flat which were free for an hour - useful for loading/unloading luggage. The flat had everything I needed for living in for a long period - the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and modern appliances , and it was so comfortable to stay there for a longer period. Nic was very reponsive and communicative - she came round straight away when the fire alarm battery needed changing! I had no problems during my stay. The wifi was brilliant and the TV was linked up to iPlayer, Netflix etc. I loved my stay and would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was amazing. Everything ran smoothly with checking in. Rebecca was a very helpful and friendly host throughout the whole of our stay. Very clean and lovely place to stay. will definitely be coming back again.

Great little terraced house a few minutes walk from the station in one direction and the shops and restaurants in the other. Wonderfully comfortable main bed. Despite overlooking a car park it was so peaceful and quiet. In fact the car park could have been useful had I brought my car. George St car park always seemed to have loads of empty spaces whereas on-street parking was a bit tight. Two bathrooms including both a bath in one and a shower in the other were useful. Quite tight steep stairs (normal in these houses) and thin walls were the only downsides but it was very quiet at night. Best to keep the TV volume down. Loads of good pubs in Bev and great independent restaurants. The nearby M&S food hall is also useful.

We had a lovely stay at The Samson Suite last week. It was lovely and clean and beautifully furnished. All the linen was best quality and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to sit outside on the sunny patio as it was so peaceful and private. The suite was easy to find and the parking was great. Its just a short flat walk into Beverley with lots of places to eat, shop and visit. Beverley Minster is also close by. Top class place to stay and we will definitely return. Everything was straight forward plenty of communication throughout our stay and leading up to it Very spacious accommodation with some lovely touches and extras Would like to suggest a set of drawers in each bedroom would be handy Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a good location Would definitely come again
