It has it's own private entrance, private parking with EV charging point (Additional charge) and a fully enclosed south facing outside area with garden furniture. It lies in the rural village of Boynton, just 3 miles from the popular Yorkshire coastal resort & fishing town of Bridlington. I (Chris) live in the Old Forge with my husband & usually greet you upon arrival.

Set in a semi-rural spot with open fields nearby, it offers a peaceful escape. Inside, you’ll find a double airbed, sofa, Smart TV, WiFi, and a small kitchen area, plus a portaloo for convenience. Guests can access house showers by arrangement. Please note: the museum-like charm and rustic character mean it can be a little dusty—this isn’t a polished hotel room.

The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. There is a perfectly formed family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower. A well appointed self catering kitchen opens onto the living/dining room again with a panoramic view of Filey Bay. A travel cot and high chair can be requested for the smallest of our guests.

This unique cottage has a style all of its own. A modern property built in an old English style with large open fireplace, oak beams and wooden floors throughout. The cottage is set back off the road in a quiet courtyard with a lovely seating area to take in the daytime sun, The bedroom has a grand king size four posted bed with period furniture. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge area for extra guests but this must be booked prior to stay, all bedding and towels are provided

We are ideally located for visiting our beautiful coastline, sightseeing special places like York, Helmsley and Malton or visiting our theme parks and stately homes including Castle Howard.
