Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Guemes Island

I travelled with my wife and two young kids and we couldn’t have had a more lovely time. The home was kid-friendly, the neighborhood was quiet and welcoming and Emily’s cookies were absolutely delicious. The home was perfectly fit for a family traveling with young kids. We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. If we find ourselves in Bellingham again (which I hope we do) Emily’s place would be top on our list.

This house was amazing. The view was epic. We sat on the porch and watched the seals and otters for hours. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including some spices for making some dinner and breakfasts. Donna was an excellent host! Will stay again when I’m in the area.

We loved the solarium room. It was decorated with cactus plants and also had a kitchen. There were fresh strawberries on the table for us to enjoy as well as cold beverages in the fridge to get us started. The surrounding property was beautiful and very peaceful. We used the washer and dryer. The utility closet was equipped with items such as hair dryer and a first aid kit. The shower was very nice. We’d stay here again and shared the experience with friends in Mount Vernon.

Fantastic stay and delivered the solitude in nature that I was looking for. It was a great way to experience the San Juans. The view was stunning, the access to the beach was stellar, and one of the best ways to spend a few days relaxing. The loaner vehicle was perfect to get us from dock to house. Reminder, for anyone looking to book this airBNB, please be mindful of what you pack and bring as there is no store to quickly run to if you forgot something. Also, you need to pack out your recyclables & non-compostables. Overall, would stay again and have already recommended it to others as an Eco-friendly vacation destination.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

So enchanting! ♡ The best type of airbnb experience possible! A beautiful home, comfortable, magical, well-stocked. It felt like we were personal guests of the owners, staying in a designed and well-loved home. There were so many special touches and so much thoughtfulness. The home has many cute areas to spend time in, and the patio was an instant way to feel connected to nature. We went for a graduation, now dreaming to return, just to stay there again! ♡♡♡

A great getaway spot with lovely east facing backyard. Quiet community. About 20 minute drive to get groceries, so it’s a great place to just hunker down.

Stayed here for 2 nights, the place was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed at. The hot tub was probably the cleanest one I’ve seen. We knew about the jets and planes taking off so that wasn’t a big deal. Felt very comfortable and at home

Great location. The bedroom and bathroom is in “new” condition and very comfortable. The kitchen is small but has all the basics. I had a wonderful stay here.

Emma’s home was paradise in the woods. It felt like we were in a tree fort but with all the necessary amenities to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was close enough to Bellingham to enjoy the pubs and restaurants and at the end of the day it was a peaceful respite from the crowds. We will return to Emma was attentive and prompt. We hope to return again. Thank you!

We spent two nights in this gorgeous space! Elizabeth and her husband were extremely hospitable. We felt right at home. The ground-level until provided unobstructed views of the entire Discovery Bay. There is a short path that leads to the edge of the property where you can sit and take in the view. It was a great space to come back to after enjoying the Peninsula for the day. While you feel out in the woods, it was easy to pop into Sequim and Port Angeles for dinner. We wish we could have stayed for longer!

Our stay was amazing! This place is a gem! We loved the place from moment we arrived. Communication is awesome and from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. The homemade bread was a treat! This place is peaceful and quiet, impeccably clean, and had all the comforts of home. The Farmhouse stay exceeded our expectations! We will be back!

This waterfront inner bay location is an ever changing view of tidal events, birds, and a beautiful garden. Every hour of the day had something different to observe and enjoy. Faces east for moonrise and sunrise views. A lovely setting, kind hosts, and close enough to Edison for dining, art galleries, and a small village stroll. Plus the king bed was incredibly comfortable so sleep was a dream. Recommend adding a visit to Bow Sanctuary sauna and sessions to add a wellness experience.

Terrific location, wonderful property, great hosts!!! Had everything we needed and more! Airline lost my luggage but thanks to available washer/dryer, I survived without suffering! Thanks Adams!

This place lives up to its name, Hidden Gem. With the shrubs and bushes around the property and the terrace give total privacy as well as the beautiful sounds of birds and the odd passing squirrels and deer. Even being above quite a busy street, it is peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is really comfortable and has everything we needed for the 10 days we stayed. The proximity to town as well as some lovely nature walks and easy access to the walk along the Boulevard is wonderful.

We felt very welcome into their vacation condo. The details made towards insuring our comfort, down to bottled water upon arrival and more was much appreciated. A bottle of white wine and Godiva chocolates were placed on the kitchen island along with the parking cards...a nice welcome to the condo. The unit was very clean and cozy. The convenience of walking to Father's Day brunch and later to dinner was perfect. Sherri and Dan sent a lengthy welcome message to us 48 hours prior to arrival, listing the restaurants, coffee houses and their proximity. The communication was great. This was a really, really great find and stay. Dawn, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful - our only issue was someone who parked in our designated spot, which Dawn sorted out within minutes. Lars' condo is beautiful and well appointed, with many thoughtful touches including coffee and toiletries. One downside on hot days in the absence of air conditioning, however the unit has plenty of high powered fans to help. I would absolutely stay at Lars' place again. Thanks Dawn and Lars!

This home was perfect for our short stay. It is walkable from Friday Harbor and all of the museums and restaurants. We enjoyed spending some time relaxing on the back deck, watching small planes take off and land. Dont worry, they arent very noisy and they dont fly between 10pm and 7am. We loved watching the deer wander and graze. The beds are SOOO comfortable! We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay with Alice this past weekend! She was incredibly communicative before our trip, offering thoughtful suggestions for local spots to eat and being flexible with our schedule. The extra touches throughout the stay really made it feel special, from grab-and-go snacks for our hikes, to goodies in the fridge, and my favorite, bubble bath soap and bath salts to unwind after long days of exploring. The space itself was cozy and inviting, with super comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry area were all fully stocked, which made a rainy Saturday morning perfect for staying in, making breakfast, and relaxing with a movie before heading out again. The location was also great. It was just a short drive to the ferry, downtown Anacortes, and whale watching tours. The nearby market had a great selection of fresh produce and snacks, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend staying here. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

This was a wonderful rental. Spotless, modern, and a great location. Very comfortable bed. We loved the short walk to Main Street. The garden view was not dramatic but lovely and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that from one balcony we had a river view and the other a view of the bay. The home was comfortable and cozy for our family. Beds had nice, soft (and clean!) sheets, comfortable mattresses as well. Short walk to beach access and coffee shop which was a plus as well.

We had a great weeklong stay at Sunset condo. It was so comfortable and spacious. The view was great and true to the name… the sunsets were awesome. The hosts have really thought of everything to make their guests stay easy. All the thoughtful touches were really appreciated. The full size kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms are well stocked and the beds and bedding are super comfortable. We really enjoyed walking in the Madrona beach neighborhood and on the public beach which is just a few steps away. This is a relaxing getaway spot. We highly recommend Maryln’s place!
