Monthly Rentals in Gulmarrad

We loved our stay at Ken & Michelle’s in Maclean. The locality was perfect for us to explore not only Maclean but Iluka, Yamba & Ulmarra. We will definitely return for the Scottish festival one year. A very comfortable, clean, private guesthouse with a beautiful view & decked out with everything you could possibly need.

Beds were comfy & the bathrooms and kitchen were modern & clean. Lovely location- the view across the sugarcane fields was stunning. James personally welcomed us to the property too which was very kind. Chocolates in the fridge & biscuits and muesli bars were very thoughtful.

Beautiful property, extremely private, peaceful and relaxing. We will be back. As listed, no WIFI and reception on phone was non existent for me with Optus but good enough for my husband with Mate. It was good to switch off and just enjoy the environment. Got reception back in main part of Brooms Head. Beautiful beaches. Highlight was definitely the outdoor bath watching the sun set with a wine. Also the Kookaburras & Kangaroos that visited. It was quite wet for half the time we were there (8 nights all up) which obviously couldn't be helped so a washing machine/ dryer would have been nice especially with damp bath & our dog towels, as constantly hosing the dog due to mud etc. Lots of mozzies too but plenty of supplies to burn/spray & to be expected with so much water on the ground. Linen on beds felt luxurious & such warm doonas. Kitchen had everything we needed & fantastic BBQ & outdoor area. Decent size fridge too. Loved the fresh eggs, bath salts & coffee pods. Great little cabin, very retro inside and super cozy! Laurel came down to say a quick hello and was super welcoming! The location is great cause, Yamba is not far at all and you have an awesome renovated pub called The Argyle in McLean that will cook you the best steak! All in all 5 stars!
