Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Nattstugan - charming accommodation by the church in Västervik

Stay in one of Västervik's oldest wooden houses right next to St. Gertrude's Church, dating back to at least the beginning of the 18th century. The night cottage is a home that breathes historic charm. The old loft apartment was carefully renovated by an architectural firm in the 1960s. The location is both central and peaceful, just a stone's throw from Storgatan and Stadsparken. The apartment can accommodate up to a family of four. In addition to a small kitchenette and bathroom, guests have access to a cozy stone-paved courtyard surrounded by the church park.

Summer house by the lake

Relax with the whole family in this home by a lake surrounded by the Småland forests. By the lake you can fish and swim. The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, which provides a comfortable indoor temperature even during the hottest days of summer. The house is located just 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Within 10 minutes drive, there are several lakes for fishing. The accommodation consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.

The lush garden invites you to relax, and the wood-burning stove spreads warmth as you sink into a soft armchair. The bedrooms are on the upper floor and the house is best suited for guests without walking difficulties. Nature surrounds the house with hiking trails and walking distance to a genuine Småland village. Nearby are several swimming lakes, and good opportunities for both boat trips and fishing.

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with host). The view of the lake creates the conditions for lovely nature experiences - all year round! In winter time, lovely bonfires and in summer the lake cools! With a canoe (included), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard, and you'll have the opportunity to see protected animals, from white-tailed eagles to otters.

Welcome to a quiet, rural accommodation, perfect for those who want to relax while still being close to attractions. About 25 minutes to Västervik and 15 minutes to Gunnebo. In Gunnebo there is a sea beach and a small grocery store. Toven, one of Västervik's finest inland swimming areas, is about 10 minutes away at Västrum, which also offers a beautiful archipelago. Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby can be reached in 45 minutes and the location is ideal for day trips to Kalmar, Linköping, Norrköping and Jönköping.

Newly renovated garden house for 5 people

Our garden house is a newly renovated accomodation located close to baths, golf and nature with walking distance to the town centre-approximately 10-15 minutes. The house is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and a microwave oven and all the kitchen utensils you might need. During the summer months you also have access to a barbecue. One bathroom with toilet and a shower cubicle. There are 5 beds; one king size bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed. We wish you very welcome!

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

Resource in our cozy cottage, furnished with an eye for warm colors and soft materials. Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own bathing area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.
