The open fire uses kiln dried logs or similar giving a wonderful homely feel to snuggle up. Upstairs You’ll find a sumptuous double bed, wardrobe with drawers, hairdryer and iron & mini-board. We had an amazing stay at Stacey's river cottage studio. It's a lovely place with everything we needed also we had extra treat's left for us Cookies which were delicious, fruit & eggs. The view's are wonderful and it's a great place for all the different walks we did. A fabulous place to stay and we will definitely be back again : )

We had a wonderful stay here in the cottage. With relaxing views over the Derbyshire countryside. Neighbours were friendly with the car drop off and there is only a short walk back to the house (we recommend taking the little footpath to the right as you are walking back up the hill.) There is so much to do within an easy 10 - 20 minute drive, including Heights of Abraham, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Petra was very responsive and always quick to reply with any questions. A fantastic stay thankyou!

The frankfurt was just right for what me and me my, wife and 2 girls(6 & 4) needed. The location was perfect for visiting various key peak district spots as well as having 2 great pubs in walking distance. We would definately look to rebook if back in the area.

All I can say is, if you are looking for a traditional cottage and home from home to stay in that also allowed dogs, to go exploring the moors and the Derbyshire Dales then this was the perfect place. With 2 pubs within easy walking distance to end the evenings with a drink and meal at. A small courtyard which was a little sun trap in the mornings and safe place for dogs too. David the host was quick to respond to my messages and supper helpful. Simply put - we had an amazing stay in a lovely cottage!!
