Quietly located on the outskirts, near the Soonwald-Nahe nature park, Soonwaldsteig, dream loops, Frankfurt-Hahn Airport 25 km Trips to the Rhine, Moselle, nearby wine-growing areas. Great accommodation with beautiful views of the Soonwald /castle + town of Gemünden, south-facing terrace with stunning views, tranquility, comfortable bed, fully furnished kitchen, cuddly bathrobes, comfortable amenities with all consumables. Good for couples, 2 pax, 3rd pax sofa bed possible. Adults only! Not suitable for children.

"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Living on the castle wall with fireplace, roof terrace

The cozy cottage was built directly to the castle wall of 1215. On the small sunny roof terrace you can organize a BBQ right next to the old sandstone wall and admire the castle tower. Many great hiking trails, castles and castles await you in the area, if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Please park directly at the castle and run down for 1 minute, as we live in a cul-de-sac with no parking. We often have cats and dogs to visit.

We had a great stay at Juliane's place. The property is located next to a small public park but still felt very private. The historical ambiance of the place is enchanting. Everything inside the apartment was of good quality and comfortable. Juliane was very responsive and thought along with us when we ran into car trouble. Sadly we couldn't explore the region that much due to car trouble. If you want to visit the Mosel region, it is about an hour drive from the accommodation. I would come again!

Christine made her accommodation available to us at very short notice. Despite the sparse preparation time, everything was super nicely prepared and we felt right at home!
