Rosa and Carl are wonderful hosts. They were very kind and helpful providing lots of tips for trips. Accomodation was perfect, refreshments waiting for us after long fly from Europe. Fully recommended. Mahalo!

Maui Tropical House

KatRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely excellent stay! The condo is in a fantastic location in Paia—just a short walk to the beach, Kuʻau Store, and the iconic Mama’s Fish House (definitely make your reservation in advance!). The space was perfect for two adults, with warm wood tones, beachy decor, and a large living room with a pull-out couch for extra flexibility. The condo had everything we needed, and the laundry in the nearby building was super convenient. Check-in and check-out were seamless thanks to the hosts’ clear instructions and responsiveness. We spent most of the week wingfoiling and windsurfing, and this was the ideal home base for easy access to Kanaha Beach Park and Kahului Harbor. We also explored the Road to Hana, Haleakalā, Makawao, Haiku, Kihei, Wailuku, and Kahului—everything was within comfortable driving distance. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it, especially if you’re looking to enjoy Maui without the resort crowds.

TA-061740441601 Kuau Plaza North Shore Maui Paia

We stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. While the building has a motel-like appearance from the outside, the rooms are beautifully furnished, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Our room was on the second floor—just a heads-up that there’s no elevator. The location is excellent, very close to the airport, though you will definitely need a car to get around. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend this place for your next visit!

Kuau Beach Place

KiannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
There are no words to fully capture how special my stay at Rob’s place was. Every morning, I woke up to the most breathtaking view of the ocean and lush greenery. The private room and bathroom made it feel like a peaceful retreat, yet the warmth and care Rob showed made it feel like I was staying with a longtime friend. Rob is the kindest, most thoughtful host I’ve ever met. He took the time to teach me about Maui’s history and the meaning of living pono, which made my experience even more meaningful. As a college girl traveling solo for the first time, I felt incredibly safe and cared for here. Rob respected my space, but was always there whenever I needed anything. This was more than just a stay—it was a deeply memorable experience. I’ll truly miss Rob and this magical place. Thank you so much, Robert. I’ll never forget my time here, and I hope to return someday.

Ocean View Cottage. Island Retreat.

We loved our experience here. Beautiful views of nature from every room. Lovely rain showers and breezes keeping things cool. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Good location for both road to Hana and Haleakalā. We appreciated the snorkel gear, toys and beach supplies. Highly recommended! One thing to note is that the laundry and supply area is a little tricky to access (it's below the house), was not a problem for us, but may be difficult if you have mobility issues or are unstable on your feet.

Pineapple Cottage Haiku Maui Lic#BBPH2015/0011

SuzanneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We love Maui and visit the island frequently. Each time we try to stay in a new location to get a feel for that area. We chose Haiku this year and were lucky enough to hit on the Pineapple Cottage. It was easy to find, yet tucked down an access road so that it felt very private. What can I say that others have not mentioned? The house and location were great and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience. Now that we are back home, we will surely miss the oranges, grapefruit and avocados that were supplied to us from Steve and Ivy’s garden. Oh, and don’t let me forget the homemade banana bread that Ivy left for us in the frig. We stayed for three weeks and would definitely return again and again.

Holomakai North Shore B and B room 1.

SwatiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The place was lovely, nestled between a lush garden and a beautiful ocean view — truly picturesque! They offered breakfast options, which was a nice touch and made mornings easy. We did spot a small lizard in the bathroom, but it had been mentioned in the listing beforehand and didn’t bother us. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the lanai — it looked like a perfect spot to relax.

sweet country cottage on 2 acres; palm trees birds

Audrey’s place was lovely and we really enjoyed staying in her cabin! The cabin was very clean and had lots of guides and local recommendations for us to look over. Audrey was also very responsive and answered any questions we had promptly. The cabin is located close to Makawao and Paia and we loved visiting those towns. It is also located close to Haleakala, only about an hour drive away. We loved staying here and hope to visit again!
