Beautiful place! We loved the local hikes, summer toboggan, and exploring nearby towns.

We had a wonderful stay at Katharina and Leo’s Airbnb. They truly treated us like family, going above and beyond with their warm hospitality. The house is beautifully designed, with thoughtful attention to every detail. Their excellent local recommendations made our trip even more memorable. Sipping coffee while soaking in the breathtaking mountain views was an experience we’ll never forget. The home is peaceful, stylish, and ideally located near Hallstatt—truly one of the best places to stay in the Salzburg region. A special touch was Katharina personally coming to meet us on our last day, which meant a lot to us. We would love to stay with Katharina and Leo again whenever we return!

A great house in a beautiful location! Bernhard was very easy to work with. We enjoyed playing ping pong and eating out on the porch with the gorgeous mountains in the background. We were traveling with our young kids who loved the house and yard too. We hope to come again.

Super stay at Jakobs house, the house was huge and well equipped. You could sense the mountain atmosphere. A wonderful, peaceful area. One of the most beautiful places I have been to with my friends. Jakob was very helpful and responded to messages very quickly I recomended

The house is huge (as the host’s heart!) , fully equipped; the place located within up to 1 hour from most points of interest; we very enjoyed our stay at Barth’s house! Very recommended.

Snezana-Mile is an amazing host who was very responsive to our questions (and there were many😊). The accommodation is in a village a short walk from Salzburg, in a nice modern house. It is in a quiet environment, very clean, comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and in addition to the classic amenities, we were delighted with the little things - coffee (and chocolate) capsules, tea, spices, and so on. The bathrooms didn't lack all the necessary toiletries. There was plenty of storage space in the rooms. Also, the fly screens in the windows were pleased. Our group of 8 was very welcoming and comfortable. It is about 20 minutes by bus to the center of Salzburg, Snezana-Mile has also equipped travel tickets. I definitely recommend staying in Au, we'd love to come back again. Snezana-Mile – thanks so much ♥

We had a lovely stay, and the apartment is in a beautiful location. Brigitte is very kind and welcomed us with homemade marmalade and cake. She took care of us with so much warmth and was always there if we needed anything. Jasmine was also very prompt with instructions and messages, which made everything easy. The home was cozy, clean, and peaceful. We felt right at home and would love to come back again. Thank you so much!

It was a super nice welcome, we were very warmly welcomed and our questions were answered in detail. The accommodation is very well equipped and sparkling clean. The warm pool and sauna rounded off the good impression. We were able to spend four very nice days here and would be happy to come back.

It was our third time in Salzkammergut and wonderful Sankt-Wolfgang. I think this town is the best location around! The lake is amazing! Simone’s apartment was at my “wish list” at Airbnb, since my previous trip. And I’m very happy that I had opportunity to realise it! Details: Apartment is fully equipped. Everything is very comfortable and high quality as if the apartment was furnished to live in, not for rent. View: Amazing, much better I could imagine watching photos. The balcony/terrace is very big and fully furnished (dinner set: table and chairs), sofa, comfortable chairs, etc. Parking: Comfortable public parking in 100 metres. 8 euros/day. It’s so spacious, that I think even in high season there are parking spaces available. Restaurants: A lot of restaurants around. Simone gave us restaurant guide and recommendations. P.S. To reach the apartment you need to walk downstairs approximately 2 stories. It’s not a problem at all, but you should take it in consideration

I would highly recommend staying in Stefans home! Everything was extremely clean and tidy, the view from the balcony is amazing! The nearby area of this home is beyond stunning, we were in absolute awe of the views from mountains to lakes. We went fishing in shwarzensee lake after renting rods and gear at sport girbl so I would highly recommend doing this as the lake was huge with a great restaurant to have a lunch break in between! Stefan recommended brilliant restaurants and things to do nearby the home. The only thing I would mention is that where this home is based, it’s very useful to have a car to get around as we were by foot and found that we paid for many taxis to get to most locations. Overall, unbelievable experience and stefans place was hugely accommodating !! 5 stars for sure 😁😁

The two of us spent 3 nights at the farm and felt very comfortable with Eva and Josef and family. The communication was always friendly, uncomplicated and attentive, Eva was always easy to reach and the conversations during our stay were also very pleasant. The area is quiet - you can only hear the birds chirping and the animals of the farm :) - and the farm is surrounded by nature with a view of Lake Wolfgang and the mountains opposite. The surroundings invite you to hike and walk. The accommodation was also very clean and nicely furnished. The furnishings also offer everything your heart desires. Definitely recommended and we will be happy to come back :)

Positives: The apartment was just as pictured, new, well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean and was in a great location for us to drive between Salzburg and Berchtesgaden and Magdalena (our host) was very warm and friendly. Cons: It is a working farm and the family live there. The dairy barn was directly across from our balcony and the kids play area was right below our bedroom windows -which we needed to leave open during summer. The noise levels early in the morning and throughout the day (delivery trucks and kids playing/crying definitely impacted our ability to sleep and relax. We also had some difficulty communicating with our hosts RE basics like check in, laundry, getting an iron, etc. Some of this was due to our arrival on a holiday, some due to the language difference (tho English was listed here as a language spoken) some due to our host being quite busy with other tasks during our visit. All understandable, yet we'd likely have booked elsewhere if we'd known.

We had a wonderful stay at Sophia’s apartment! The place is cozy, very well-equipped, and has the most breathtaking view from the window. It truly felt like home. Sophia is an amazing and kind host — very welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We’re very grateful for her hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salzburg. We recently stayed for a couple of days in this apartment, and it was truly enjoyable. The apartment itself was spacious, providing us with plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the great terrace, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the view. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes walking distance and a few restaurants nearby. The location was ideal for exploring the local sights. We found it easy to get to stunning places like Gosausee and Hallstatt, making our trip even more memorable. We highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.

I have never been in such a clean airbnb apartment. Eva and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I can warmly recommend it.

We had a one night stopover when traveling south. The appartement was spacious and very clean. Nice places for dinner in short driving distance. Friendly and helpful hosts!

Diana is a very friendly and helpful host who responds promptly to questions. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, so we felt very comfortable. The location is also fantastic, directly opposite the valley station of the cable car and with views of the valley downhill. With the gondola, you can get to the Dachstein West ski area very quickly. The apartment also includes a heated compartment in the ski depot. A general store where you can get fresh rolls and the most necessary everyday items is within walking distance. There are also a few restaurants in the village. We enjoyed the days in Rußbach very much and would come back anytime.

I had a wonderful stay at Gregor’s flat in Strobl! The location is absolutely fantastic, the view from the flat is truly breathtaking and made every morning feel special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest after long days exploring the area. The flat itself was well‑cleaned, well‑equipped with all the essentials I needed, and fresh towels were provided, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. What I appreciated most was how accurate the listing was, everything was exactly as described, which gave me peace of mind when booking. The curtains do an okay job of filtering the morning light, but they aren’t blackout. So if you’re a light‑sensitive sleeper, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask for a perfect night’s rest. Gregor was a friendly and responsive host. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well‑maintained flat with an amazing view!!

The apartment is clearly one of the most beautiful I have stayed in so far and is actually much nicer than in the photos. The descriptions are very accurate and the check-in was very easy
