The forest cabin in Tibirke

"Skovhytten" has remained almost unchanged since it was designed by the painter Aage Lund in 1922 and was built by local craftsmen from Tibirke. Lund used it as a studio for two decades and the house still houses several of his paintings and has Lund's original color scheme. Since then, it has been a summer house and workroom for Denmark's most famous classical composer in the 20th century and was owned by the family for more than 75 years.” The house is located in Tisvilde Lunde. Tisvilde town and the beach can be reached by bike through the forest in 10 minutes.

The house is located about 10 minutes walk from the cozy town of Liseleje with a baker, grocery store and small specialty shops. The house was renovated in 2017 in classic Liseleje cottage style, with a lovely covered terrace, enclosed garden with fireplace and a sheltered outdoor bath with hot water. No smoking and no pets.

Our cottage is located in Evetofte/Melby on a nice, densely planted and sunny plot. Here, there is a cycling distance to the cozy Liseleje, which offers restaurants, cafes and a cozy shopping life. It's real Danish holiday coziness at its best. Liseleje also has one of Denmark's best beaches with a magical light when the sun sets after a long beautiful day. In the last few years, we have updated the house with a new kitchen, new bathroom, post-insulated, new thermal windows and a whole garden.

I er velkomne til at låne vores cykler til en tur i skoven, til stranden, eller til indkøb.

Numerous cozy outdoor seating areas.

Vores unikke og hyggelige sommerhus er i 2021 komplet renoveret i Nordisk og traditionel, dansk sommerhusstil. Sommerhuset indgyder til timer af sjov, velvære og hygge med familien og venner. Sommerhuset ligger 10 minutters gang til trappenedgangen til en af Danmarks smukkeste og mest familievenlige strande. Vi har i vinteren 2026 fået bygget en stor træterrasse, der giver fantastiske muligheder for afslapning i solen og let adgang mellem have og hus.

Lovely cottage at the end of a closed, quiet gravel road with a large, sunny terrace and annex. 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by bike to Liseleje beach. Three bedrooms (plus sofa bed in living room), nice new bathroom with underfloor heating, outdoor shower, small TV, internet, washing machine, tumble dryer, kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher. Unique terrace with gas grill, umbrella, garden furniture, etc. Pets and smoking are not allowed.
