Summertime there is the possibility of mountain biking, hiking along the Birkebeiner Trail, Pilgrimsleden or other trails and forest roads. It is also set up with gap hawks. On summer days, Osensjøen is located on sandy beaches, so Rena also offers a warm and nice swimming area.

Simple and peaceful accommodation in scenic surroundings. The cabin's location is on the northern side of Furuberget, and with lots of hiking trails and only 800 meters walk from the beach at Lake Mjøsa, this is a good starting point for hiking, relaxing and cozying. Walking or biking along the boardwalk from Jessnes to Hamar is a great hike of about 8 km, and a great starting point to many nice experiences.
