To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Extra mattresses can be rented. Location: On Ridabu by Vang church. It is just under 3 km to Hamar city center. For example, the Viking Ship is a 20 min walk and 4 min by car. Her har du/dere mulighet for utleie av scooter eller sykkel, om det skulle være behov for et fremkomstmiddel under oppholde hos oss, da det er dårlig med bussforbindelser. Dyr er tillatt, men skal holdes unna seng og sofa, med tanke på allergier hos eventuelt andre gjester, og støvsug gjerne leiligheten

In winter there are nice ski runs right outside the door and the atmospheric cabin in combination with the sauna creates the perfect winter experience. The house is also suitable for those who need a place to stay for a short time while renovating their house or looking for something new. A cheap holiday / residence for small to large families.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
