A-frame near Madison Blue Springs

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Our A-frame Hobbit House is cozy and dry and sleeps 2 . The Aframe has electricity and AC in the summer months and heater for the cooler months. There is an outdoor bathhouse that is shared with the other people on the property. Outside, there is a picnic table, chairs, gas grill with burner, and firepit. You are welcome to use the firewood found on our property. Please note we have two very friendly golden retrievers and chickens on property.

Our old house with hardwood floors, nice comfortable furniture, and vintage decorating choices is perfect for a leisurely get away or business. Great stay for travel nurses or others working temporarily in the area, or just a layover during travels. An air mattress and pack and play are also available. Relax with the whole family or solo at this peaceful half-house suite. This older house is plain, clean and simple and has some older windows. One block away from a lake that is nice and relaxing to walk around. Be sure to check out Madison Blue Springs, which is 10 minutes driving distance. The location was on the water.and We had access to paddle boards, rowboat, and fishing gear. It was so much fun out on the water on the paddle boards. Rv was small but vey cold AC and comfortable, Beach front was priceless . The host was very nice and responded very quickly on any thing we needed

We enjoyed our stay especially since we were there for the watermelon festival and the house is about half mile from the town square, very walkable for us. The layout of the house is simple and cute. we really like the coffee provided. There were enough dishes and cookware available so I could make pancakes for breakfast. We also really liked that a firepit with firewood was provided since I love to roast marshmallows and have s'mores. Had a little trouble with the lock at first but got it figured out. I did not realize the house was on a dirt road, which was fine, just missed the road at first because I thought it was someone's driveway. We had a great stay and I would stay here again to visit the local farms and springs in the area.

Alan was such a great host! The home was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. My boys enjoyed the game room with the pool table and the snacks provided were such a nice surprise! Great location, very peaceful but close to everything. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a special place and we were blessed by our stay here. It's so peaceful and private... sitting on a porch swing, looking out over the lake, watching the wildlife, and listening to nothing but the sounds of nature. Each morning we loved having our coffee while watching the cows come out to pasture and walk down to the lake to drink. For anyone who is looking to step away from everything for a while, relax, and just enjoy the simple pleasures of life in God's creation - this is the perfect spot!
