Josh’s home was perfect for a girl’s weekend for 4 long-time friends.. His home was clean, comfortable and in a peaceful neighborhood. Within walking distance of Carytown and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and communication with Josh was excellent. I would highly recommend his home!

Cara’s place is at the perfect location. There is the best coffee place just a couple of blocks away. If you are a person who likes to cook, she has some of the best equipment I’ve seen at Air BnBs. She is very thoughtful and made extra efforts to make our stay wonderful, even though she is a very busy woman. We appreciated her allowing us to enjoy her lovely place.

Great place, extremely clean, very well appointed and decorated, very comfortable beds. James was very communicative, responsive and professional. Highly recommend! Just a note, there are video security cameras monitoring the front door as well as the backyard. It’s mentioned in the listing and I guess it’s somewhat common, but a little disconcerting knowing someone maybe watching you at any time!

This home was beautiful! So often Airbnbs are clearly flips, especially in Richmond . They are nice enough but you can tell someone bought it and renovated it solely to make money as an Airbnb host. This space was very different. This home is beautiful and is decorated according to the era in which it was built, while still being incredible comfortable and having all the amenities. The hosts were warm and friendly and had obviously lived here at some point because their recommendations were spot on and the home wasn’t bare bones and basic furniture. They had thought through what guests would need or want and made sure we felt comfortable in the space. This is a beautifully maintained, elegant and cozy home and our family loved staying here. Bonus: parking on the street was very easy (we always managed to get a spot right out front) and the AC worked very well.

A truly beautiful home full of tasteful and interesting period decor and furnishings. Everywhere you turn you see another thoughtful and unique item from wall hangings to bookshelves to toiletries and more. The place was spotlessly clean with a well appointed kitchen where Kay even left breakfast makings for us. The house is tucked away down a narrow private road with a front yard the size of a fairway and comfortably furnished screen porch out back beside a wooded brook full of croaking frogs at night. A wonderful, restful place!

We had a great stay. The house is bright and clean and comfortable and we would stay here again. The hosts are very responsive and they provide all the necessities and then some! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Alex is an amazing host. If my wife or myself had any questions she responded quickly to an email. The location of this AIRBNB is near restaurants and places to shop. It’s very peaceful and pleasant. A beautiful home with a lively yard to enjoy. We felt comfortable from the minute we walked in. Lovely neighborhood of parks and beautiful older homes. Not a central location but an easy drive to museums and shopping districts.

Have stayed here before and definitely will in the future! Has everything you need and the location is great!

Great spot close to the convention center! The Korean spot on the corner is excellent! It’s kind of a tight spot for 4 people, but doable and everything was just as described!

This is a great rental! Hosts were flexible and accommodating with my last-minute request. Beautiful apartment in the extremely popular Fan district of Richmond. I thought it was even nicer than the pictures. Street parking was always available even though it is on a block with popular restaurants. I was only there on weekdays so it might be a bit more spirited on the weekends. Local restaurants, bars and markets abound. If you don’t mind normal city noise, it was very peaceful. I slept like a rock. I could hear footsteps from the upstairs apartment occasionally but absolutely nothing disturbing. I slept in the middle bedroom. I can’t speak for the front bedroom because I didn’t need to use it. Full kitchen was a plus and I really appreciated the coffee. I was also grateful for the washer/dryer. There was just the right amount of signage and instructions throughout. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

This stay was exceptional, the hosts were extremely proactive about everything that I didn't need to bother them about a thing. The space is comfortable and peak Richmond. Located at a part of town with almost too many good restaurants to check out. Can't recommend enough.

We just enjoyed a few days in Richmond at Catherine's place and had a wonderful time. The photos were very helpful in locating the back entrance (from the alley) and finding our way to the door - hint, it's a longer walk through the back garden/yard than we were expecting, but once we passed through the garden we felt like we had already become more peaceful! The apartment is clean and uncluttered and lovingly decorated with interesting art. There is a binder with anything you'd ever want to know about the area, parks, museums, restaurants (including menus, which I appreciate!) and a few maps of the area, which is great for walking. All in all we had a wonderful time and will not hesitate to stay there on future trips to Richmond.

Bryson's place is truly a home away from home. Me and my son have stayed multiple times and every time I am delighted to be there and sad to leave. The bed is so comfortable. The blinds and gossamer curtains in the bedroom give it a very homey feel. Using the office as a small bedroom for my toddler is just perfect. We are close to each other but have our own space. The kitchen is clean and well appointed. And the home itself is really in the very best part of the Fan. We really love staying there and would highly recommend to anyone coming to Richmond. And to top it off Bryson and Teri are really nice people. They do an excellent job hosting. They are always available and communicate quickly, clearly and proactively.
