The cabin is located on Fjellsætra in the beautiful Sunnmørsalpane. Here you have many nice hiking experiences in summer and winter. There is a short distance to the water with access to a rowboat. In winter, the ski slopes are right outside the door, and there is a short driving distance to the alpine resorts Sunnmørsalpene and Strandafjellet. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy nice days in the mountains all year round. If you want excursions, there is a short drive to Ålesund, Geiranger, Slogen and other popular destinations.

On the idyllic Sæbøneset farm lies "Gamlehuset". With panoramic views of the majestic "Sunnmørsalpane" lies the farm that has been in the family for several generations. Sæbøneset farm is located in Hjørundfjorden in Ørsta municipality. "Gamlehuset" is centrally located on the farmyard, and is equipped with all the amenities you need. The courtyard has no through traffic. The farm is located close to the sea and has its own harbor, boathouse, campfire area, etc., and is within walking distance to Sæbø center.

Enjoy the place with peace of mind by enjoying the view of the sea horizon. Classic cottage with good sea views and plenty of space for the whole family or a couple of friends. Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.

Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can be rented and enjoy the tranquility and nice view of the Hjørundfjord. There is also a private harbor with the possibility to rent a boat. Price per day: 16 ft 15/20 horsepower NOK 600 plus petrol. 18 ft 30 horsepower NOK 850 per day. Gasoline is in addition to what the customer uses. Life jackets can be borrowed. All boat rentals are at your own risk
