A charming house from the 1800s with a great atmosphere. The property is beautifully located by the lake overlooking Ålesund and Sunnmørsalpene. Only 15 min by car from Ålesund city and the nearest airport, but is still a place that gives peace of mind. Outside the garden there is cultivated land with grazing animals in late summer. The island of Giske itself is a gem with a marble church from the Middle Ages, beaches, untouched nature and bird life. The island was once home to Norway's most powerful noble family, the Arnungs, and is mentioned in the Snorre saga.

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Fantastic view from sitting area outside apartment! Patly also with roofing and heating - heat lamp for colder or rainy days. Perfect for breakfast and relax in the evening with a view even with not the best weather. Apartment with 2 bedrooms, living room with integrated kitchen and one bathroom. Located close to Ålesund centre - 3 minutes by car and 20 minutes walking. Aksla hiking area just outside apartment. Free parking. Double beds in each bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with all you need.

Fjord view in centre w/parking

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Traditional boat house by the fjord

Welcome to "Sjøbua" ! Our familyowned, old traditional boat house named "Bukta Feriebolig SA." By the water by the Romsdal fjord. This is a perfect spot if you want to explore some of the most popular sights in this area, like Geiranger, Trollstigen, Ålesund and Atlanterhavsveien. Or maybe you want to go hiking in the mountains, or use the boat or kayak? We can´t promise that the sun will shine during your stay - but we can promise a relaxing experience waking up to the view of the fjord.

Det er gangavstand til Midsundtrappene og til båthavnen med tilhørende båt. Rørsethornet- EN AV VERDENS LENGSTE SAMMENHENGDE STENTRAPPER med sine 3292 trinn, ble ferdigstilt 22.10.22. Kun 300 meter fra hytten. Utenfor hytten er det en elegant tønnebadstue hvor en kan nyte velgjørende varme😃

Small apartment in the garage attic.

Our place is close to Ålesund Airport. Ålesund airport. Great nature. Rural and quiet. Yet only 20 min. by car to Ålesund city center. My place is good for couples, lone travelers, and business travelers. Can also be suitable for a small family. (Extra mattresses). We can also assist with transportation to/from the airport in the late afternoon/evening. There is a 24-HOUR (Monday-Saturday) grocery store 2 km from the rental. Joker Vikane. Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can be rented and enjoy the tranquility and nice view of the Hjørundfjord. There is also a private harbor with the possibility to rent a boat. Price per day: 16 ft 15/20 horsepower NOK 600 plus petrol. 18 ft 30 horsepower NOK 850 per day. Gasoline is in addition to what the customer uses. Life jackets can be borrowed. All boat rentals are at your own risk
