Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hardangerfjord

Et nydelig sted, nær siderutene i Apalvegen og herlig ved fjorden. Alt var i topp klasse, og godt utstyr både inne og ved uteområdet. Vi er seks damer som har storkost oss.

Een geweldig verblijf gehad met een superhost. Samen met haar man runt Marta de Airbnb op vriendelijke en gastvrije wijze. We voelden ons echt welkom. Prachtig uitzicht op het fjord vanaf het balkonnetje. Vanaf het huisje diverse uitstapjes gemaakt naar o.a. imposante watervallen. Kortom echt een aanrader!

Vi hadde et helt fantastisk opphold på tinghuset. Fantastisk beliggenhet, vi fikk muligheten til å bade fra bryggen og sole oss. Det var kort vei til Rosendal. Vi kommer absolutt tilbake til denne plassen. Tusen takk for oss.

Christine’s place is very well located and we enjoyed walking to all of the sites in Bergen. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend!

Assurément l’un de mes plus beaux logements loués sur airbnb. La maison décorée avec soins les pieds dans l’eau, le calme, la gentillesse de Torstein et Ida . Nous sommes à l’opposé des boites à clé anonymes qui se multiplient partout . Je recommande à 100%

Das Haus ist sehr modern renoviert und schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war super bequem, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Lage am See war super ruhig und perfekt zum abschalten. Uns hat es dort gefallen, allerdings könnte das Haus an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas Liebe vertragen. Die Kommunikation mit Benjamin war super und er hat schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

We had the pleasure to spend a wonderful long weekend in Hardanger at Gro and Øystein's magnificent place. I can highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely come back!

We had an absolutely awesome time at Espen’s place in Røldal. The cabin was super modern and clean and had everything we needed for an amazing couple of days enjoying the peace and quiet of Roldal. The view from the cabin is amazing from both inside and out, the beds were so comfortable and Espen was a brilliant host. He recommended great things to do in the area and was super responsive to any questions we had. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

Wir haben uns sehr zuhause gefühlt. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit einem sehr schönen Garten und einem malerischen Ausblick. Wir hatten glücklicherweise perfekten Sonnenschein sodass wir Ausblick und Sonne ausgiebig genossen haben. Es ist sogar eine Waschmaschine sowie Wäscheständer vorhanden, neben einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch der riesige Fernseher lädt zum Ausklingen des Abends auf der Couch ein. Eine sehr tolle Unterkunft und ein gut erreichbarer sowie freundlicher Gastgeber. Noorwegen in een notendop. De airbnb is fantastisch. schitterend uitzicht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Gunnar en Reidun zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen met het hart op de juiste plaats. In Zuid Noorwegen hebben we zeker prachtige plekken bezocht, toch was Herand een plaats waar wij geen genoeg van konden krijgen. voor de boodschappen kun je prima terecht bij Herald Handel, een supermarkt met een vriendelijke eigenaresse en waar je zowel binnen als buiten koffie/ ijs kan nuttigen. we hebben in Herand kajaks gehuurd. fantastisch om er te peddelen. ook een tocht met een rib boat vanuit Nordheimsund was top. als afsluiter hebben we er een kerkdienst bezocht. het is een absolute aanrader om voor langere tijd bij Gunnar en Reidun te verblijven.

We have stayed in Bergrid's house for two days and enjoyed it very much. It is in a quite area, looking out over one of the inlets of the Hardangerfjord. There is a nice waterfall close by. With good weather you have good places to enjoy outside. Stores and restaurants are a bit further away, so get some supplies when you're on the way. The house itself has everything you need and there is sufficient privacy. You do hear some walking going on the higher floor, but not on an annoying level. We do recommend to stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Finally, Anna’s hospitality was top notch - we felt right at home the moment we arrived! Thank you Anna for being such a spectacular host! I give this Airbnb and Anna my highest recommendation.

Gorgeous location. Peaceful walks right out the door. Close to Herdla which has quite a few interesting places like a bird sanctuary and sauna. The host is friendly and super helpful!

Flott liten leilighet med god utsikt, fint plassert i forhold til skitrekket. Mulig å gå til trekket, men kan fort bli litt svett av gåturen😅 Leiligheten hadde alt vi som en gruppe på 3 voksne kunne hatt behov for. Anbefales videre!

Ich habe mich in der Unterkunft rundum wohlgefühlt! Sie ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, blitzsauber und eine echte kleine Wohlfühloase. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht – von Küchenausstattung bis hin zu liebevollen Details, die den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht haben. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Anbindung an die Stadt war mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

This is a beautiful small apartment that is perfect for 1-2 people. It was spotless and well equipped. The location was perfect. Everything you could need is close by and the parking garage we used was behind the apartment and easy to access. Great experience.

Great place to use as a base if you're exploring Odda and the surrounding national parks. I stayed there as a single, but it would accommodate a couple nicely as well. The place was clean and had everything as described. The host was very responsive to any questions I had about the place and the surrounding area. One recommendation - find out if anyone is staying in the unit above as it is also owned and rented by the same host.
