In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. It is situated in the peaceful countryside and with direct access to highways, bringing you in a short time to Bruges, Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp or the coast. It is also close to the French border. In the meadows the sheep graze, ducks and geese splash in the pond and a happy potbelly pig hops around. The house has a large sitting and dining area, a groundfloor twin room, a double room and a separate TV-room.

We are located very close to Bruges and to the coast with a lot of places to walk around in pure nature.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find their own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to large trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristy sites. On request, breakfast: 10 euros/person.

Our house is located on the border of a residential area in the woods of Hertsberge, very close to Bruges, Gent, Flanders's fields and the coast. One part of the house is where we live, the other part is the one we rent out. Newly redecorated.
