The cabin was perfect for staying with our two kids. The playrooms and well stocked kitchen and rooms made it easy to keep them entertained and relax in the mountains. Thank you for your hospitality!

Mary and Chris’s property felt like home for us!! We loved the cabin feel, the spacious layout and the well stocked kitchen. We had more than what we needed, as far as dishes to create some magical meals. Thank you for hosting our family and we will be sure to return the next time we are looking some relaxation!

Location!! Near all local attractions but extremely private. Beautiful views. Loved waking up to beautiful sunrises from the comfort of bed, and amazing stars at night from the hot tub on the back deck. This house delivers a great experience. Would absolutely stay again

Highly recommend this home for your Wintergreen stay. First, the hosts were extremely proactive in sending detailed information from check-in instructions to suggestions on local activities. The host was responsive within minutes with any questions we had. The house is very well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was perfect for 3 couples in our party, not many homes have 3 master suites. The house has 2 family rooms which added great additional space. The location is convenient to the Wintergreen lodge, not ski in/ski out but an easy drive down to the resort, seriously just a few minutes. I highly recommend waking up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the big window on the main level, can't beat the views. Everyone in our party was extremely happy with our stay.

This place was AWESOME! Perfect location for wanting to spend your time on the slopes! Super cozy, very spacious, looks exactly like the pictures. The living area is a great hangout spot and the fireplaces kept us nice and warm during this windy winter stay.

Nathan and the house are truly remarkable, showcasing qualities like amazing, incredible, outstanding, beautiful, kind, generous,sincere and phenominal. I highly recommend them! All praises and blessings! When you book with Nathan, all you need is money and food because they provide everything else you could possibly want and more. Plus, the price is absolutely fair! 🙂

Had a great time! Very remote. It was so nice to get away and was exactly what we needed!

We were very pleased with connie's place, clean & well stocked everywhere. We didn't cook, but the kitchen utensils, pots, etc., were amazing & rivaled my 30+ year old kitchen. We are delighted w/ the location as it is beautiful, peaceful, & 12 minutes from my son's wedding venue in October. What I especially appreciate was Connie's hand compiled notebook w/ local recommendations And - she offered to help out with unforeseen situations if we had questions or other needs. Given that we will be back in October for my son's wedding w/ me in a stressed state, it helps take that edge off to know we have someone to turn to if we need something. Anything, like her assurances, that can make that time less stressful, is most welcome! We appreciate her!

Excellent place to stay! Beautiful views, plenty of deck space to be outside, and spacious enough for our group of nine!

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was clean and adequately stocked. The family room TV was huge and a great spot for a family movie night. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and free of clutter. The basement game room was a lot of fun and the hot tub was a fun addition, too. The best part about the home was the proximity to Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah!

Kathryn’s place was AMAZING! We came here for a bachelorette celebration and it was such a nice, peaceful getaway! All the beds were comfortable and had plenty of space to decorate how we wanted for the bach trip! We couldn’t be more pleased with the place!

The house was the perfect location to celebrate our son’s engagement with his fiancé and her family!

We enjoyed hanging out at the cabin after brewery hopping! There was plenty of space for us, and we were able to use the dining table and large coffee tabel well to play board games.

We had a great time at Bridget and Preston’s chalet as family with little ones. The movie theater was a great touch and kids loved winding down with a movie. Lots to do in the surrounding areas as well. Hosts were very responsive and communicated clearly. Will definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home over Memorial Day Weekend in late May. The house looks exactly like the photos — surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature, it was the perfect escape. Everything was super comfortable and well-equipped: the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the beds were cozy, and the amenities were fantastic. We especially appreciated the hot tub and sauna — such a great touch that made our trip feel extra relaxing. The location is also great: we visited a few local wineries and explored the nearby town of Harrisonburg. There’s a supermarket just 15 minutes away, which was very convenient. Wi-Fi is available, but honestly, we barely used it — we were too busy enjoying nature and unplugging from everyday life. There’s also a lovely fire pit area, which we didn’t get a chance to use this time, but it looked great for future guests. Thank you so much for hosting us — we had a wonderful time and would absolutely come back!

Wow, this is a great house and a perfect location. Right on the river where we fished, kayaked, waded (a little cold for swimming) and generally hung out on the riverbank and played nonstop for 2 days with a bunch of little kids. And then just 15 mins or less from groceries in Luray and 30-45 mins up to the 211 entrance into Shenandoah for hiking. The house was terrific and this kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals. Not those crappy secondhand thrift store pots and pans that are missing lids or covered in gunk you find in a lot of places, always missing that one thing you need to make your meal. Plus little things like collanders and cheese graters. The beds were terrific and the beautiful wall of windows was the perfect compliment to the big room (plus toy room upstairs) where we spent most of our indoor time. We'd come back here in a heartbeat and would hope to find our way here this summer when we can do more swimming. Thanks!!
