This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Sur un site exceptionnel, calme et verdure, ancienne bergerie rénovée avec gout, au milieu de résidences étudiants, sur place, cuisine avec tout le nécessaire, wifi, linge de maison, bain, et nuit. Vous trouverez une laverie à Monnoyeur dans la residence à proximité et un distributeur à pizza automatique (régalement avec carte bancaire) sur le parking privé de la residence mis à disposition gratuitement pour les residents. L’accès est aisé et proche de l’autoroute A20.

The Bumbles Cabin on the Lake

Our beautiful cosy cabin has been recently built to enable our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings. It is totally private and the perfect place to relax. If you would like to fish, the lake is fully stocked with fantastic fish up to 35kg, fishing costs 12€ per 24hrs and equipment is available to hire for 12€ as well if required. A BBQ, firepit, and a pool (June-September) ensure that your stay will be idyllic in this picturesque setting.

Come and enjoy the calm of the Limousin countryside in a pleasant little studio house. The accommodation includes a kitchenette, shower room, room with a 140 bed and dining area. The small house is heated with a wood burning stove. Guests can relax on the terrace. The property has a large garden. The house is 12 km from the A20 highway and 30 minutes from Limoges. For two-wheeled travelers (bicycles, motorcycles) I have a barn to shelter them.
