Cozy cabin on Grindstone Lake with access to Lac Courte Oreilles lake as well. Both are considered pristine for musky and walleye. Sevenwinds Casino and Big Fish Golf Course are minutes away. Downtown Hayward is only 15 minutes. You have access to the community dock and shared frontage to crystal clear Grindstone Lake. The Snowmobile trail runs immediately in front of the cabin. Ice fishing right off our shore produces walleye, crappie and perch. We have a fisherman’s haven just waiting for you!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. You are a 10 minute walk to 3 of Hayward restaurants. Main street Hayward is a 15 minute walk. Enjoy and relax at this cozy home. If you are staying in Hayward for the Birkie its a 15 minute walk to the bridge over Hwy 63 to watch the skiers then just a few more minutes more to the finish line. And with on site parking you have that problem solved

This cabin was a breath of fresh air! We spent our time skipping stones, fishing off the dock and relaxing on the warm, sandy beach. The cabin was spotless, inviting, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The host was gracious and attentive! If you’re looking for stillness, joy, and the kind of memories that linger long after you leave, this is the place. We came home rested, grateful, and looking forward ti our next stay!

We were in Hayward to ATV. You can ride to the trails from this location. Long circle drive provided easy in/out with trailers and parking. Loved watching the swans from the breakfast nook while drinking coffee. Comfy home

I have sensitivities to smells, chemicals and certain laundry detergent. The tide laundry detergent was strong on the bedding and towels and throughout the house. Other than my issues with strong smells and chemicals, the place was great. Thank you.

Lake Front, Arcade, Kayaks-Callahan's Shore Thing

My husband and I loved our stay. The view from the living room is BEAUTIFUL. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the dock. At the cabin, there is so much to do. We took advantage of the kayaks, grill, fire pit, and game garage all on site and worked as listed. There is a lot of wild life at the cabin, we enjoyed keeping track of a few animals that lived near by. Down town Hayward is a 20 minute drive where we parked and walked to gift shops and tried a few different restaurants. Kristin was a fantastic host and was very fast to respond and answer my questions. Can’t recommend this stay more!! We’ll be back!! :)

Rustic 3 bedroom house above business as described!! Great Location- downtown Hayward- close to everything. Wonderful outside space for relaxing. We were there for the hottest day on record! The place had a small air conditioner but with multiple fans we were fairly comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and everyone slept great!! Thank you Patty- we will be back!!

Beautiful and charming place to stay, amazing views, lots for my Fiancé and I to do (fishing, going out to eat, cooking at the house, checking out the local stores, walks, more fishing). Close enough to town, but still far enough away to have privacy. This was our first AirBnB and it was a pleasant experience. Thanks again.
