PLEASE NOTE: The bedroom is located in the attic, and the ceiling is 1.80 meters (5.9 feet) at its highest point. So, there isn't much room to move around in the room. Downstairs, there is a closet. The kitchenette has a combi oven, fridge, and a stove. Air Fryer available upon request. Bus stop 400 m away, train station 1.3 km away.

You will find everything close by: the cozy village of Heemskerk with shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of forest and dunes, near the sea and beach. There are also beautiful cycling routes. From Castricum train station (5 km), you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes. Alkmaar and Haarlem are also nearby. Located next to the nature reserve 't Twiske, ideal place for boating, paddle boarding, hiking, biking. Cycle in 10 minutes to Amsterdam Noord or in 30 minutes to Centraal Station. By public transport, it is also only 20 minutes to Central Station and within 30 minutes to the RAI, or the atmospheric Pijp with its many terraces and the museum square.

The ceiling height upstairs is 1.30 m (4 ft 3 in)! Double bed 1.80x2.20cm. Rain shower/toilet. Not suitable for children. No pets. Smoking is not allowed.

The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. It is next to the owners house, but offers a lot of privacy. The cottage has a nice terrace that overflows into the garden.
