Holiday rentals with beach access in Heraklion

We enjoyed our stay here overnight. The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. Communication regarding checking in was great, also very helpful with directions to the bus station for our onward journey.

Everything was just perfect! The detailed description how to get to the place, the location close to the old harbor and city center and the amazing apartment itself. Nikos was available at all times to give recommendations for food and discovering Heraklion. It was amazing. Hands down best host I ever had on AirBnb.

Honestly the photos don’t even do the place justice, me and my girlfriend had the most incredible time here. George and Fofi are so lovely and accommodating, helped me get a reliable hire car for good price. We had such an amazing time and apartment and would love to come back. The place is quite tricky to find initially and up a very steep hill, so if you go the only thing I’d say is to definitely get a hire car! Really have nothing bad to say about it at all. Great place

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's place in the Gazi area of Crete. The accommodation fully met our expectations — everything was impeccable, very clean and well organized. Host Michael was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. From the first contact to the end of our stay, we always feel supported. Your availability and kindness made all the difference and exceeded our expectations. We arrived in Crete quite early and, at our request, Michael kindly allowed an early check-in, which was a great help. In addition, he provided us with a parasol, something simple but that made all the difference during our tours of the island. At the end of the stay, he also offered us a late check-out, which made it a lot easier, since our flight was only in the late afternoon. It was really a fantastic experience, not only because of the space itself, but above all because of Michael's hospitality. We highly recommend it!

Andy is a great woman and a great host, friendly, cheerful, we felt at home with her. Separate entrance, rest in peace and quiet. The studio is very clean and cozy, it was nice to spend time on the terrace full of flowers. She treated us like we were her closest family. I greet and recommend this place with all my heart♥️. We were perfectly happy here, everything was as described, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, the house is perfectly equipped (we made heavy use of the sandwich toaster), there is more then enough room. The surroundings are perfect as well, it's quiet, and the beach is very near, there are also some nice restaurants there. Plus there is a bus to Heraklion that goes every half hour. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt immediately welcome, and had a great time.

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

the place was very nice and Maria was very hospitable. Her mom gave us delicious homemade cookies. The house looked as if someone is still living there. there were personal photos and what seemed like personal items. looked a lot like a "home". We had a lovely time. thank you Maria.

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Marianna’s place was great - we had a very pleasant time there. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is stunning, and the location is easy to access. Her mum, Sonia, kindly made us a local pie upon arrival, and she was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes to the Heraklion city centre. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for the perfect stay in Heraklion you will love this apartment. The situation is ideal for exploring all that the city has to offer. Spotlessly clean and super comfortable with a huge terrace and lots of home comforts. Lucy and Nikos were quick to respond to our messages and gave us some fabulous recommendations for restaurants. We would definitely book again!!!

We had a really great stay at Hersonissos. The apartment was in a perfect position in the town and the host was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue for me was having mobility issues the stairs were hard work, but I knew that was going to be the case and it was not misrepresented at all. So just be wary if you’re the same, but being extra careful to get up to the top sundeck was definitely worth it for the views - thank you!

I loved my stay, Georgia and her husband are the nicest of hosts and I felt like at home. The location is the best in Heraklion. 10 minutes walk to city center, less to nearby grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, several quite posh. I could see the sea from the roof top and the hot tub was excellent. 10/10 experience.
