House holiday rentals in Hermann

The house was even better than we imagined it would be! It felt more like a retreat than an Airbnb experience! The location was beautiful and easy to get around. The yard was beautiful and private. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked and clean. The washer dryer combo was also a cool feature. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!

Perfect bnb for a large group and family friendly. We had two kids age 2 and 6 and they loved the bunk bed. There was plenty of room and the house was well stocked with necessary items. Michael was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. Overall a great stay and amazing location for a weekend getaway.

Staying here was so peaceful and calming. The house felt like home very quickly. Hanging out on the beach area was so fun and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend! Matthew was incredibly helpful and any questions I had, he was quick to respond.

The hiding place is a cute, historic home with enough bedrooms for our family Thanksgiving/Christmas with 10 adults and 6 kids. We booked this place because it was the most affordable option with as many bedrooms as we needed, and it ended up being a great find! We loved our stay! It is an old home with old home charm and quirks (don't put a level on the floor), but bathrooms are updated and the house was CLEAN! I can tell Robyn continues updating, because a new stove was installed right before our visit. Being an older home, it is not open concept, so there was no one room that fit everyone at the same time. This was really only a concern when we did our Christmas gift exchange. Some people stood in the doorways. Between the breakfast room and the dining room, there was the perfect separation for a kids table and an adult table for meals. The basement was a nice open space for the kids to play! Very easy access to I-70, but far away enough that it is definitely residential.

A perfect layout for an extended family representing ages from 3 to 74. The most impressive aspect was how well appointed it was. From silverware to cooking essentials to appliances, we needed nothing. Throughout the house was thoughtful touches such as games or children's toys or even a bluetooth speaker we could connect to. Outside was a fire pit that included a stack of seasoned fire wood and even fire starters and plenty of chairs that allowed us to enjoy the outdoor evening. With both upstairs and downstairs living spaces, our large group never felt crowded. With the huge dining room table we could all enjoy our meals together. After renting perhaps a hundred AirBnBs, this it the best.

Attended a wedding in Innsbrook. House was conveniently located near the venue . Brian was very easy to communicate with thru emails. Highly recommend his house !

The house was perfect for our girls trip. House was nicely remodeled and decorated, clean, and plenty of room. The cinnamon rolls were a nice surprise and we enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting at Adam Puchta's winery. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for our overnight stay in Hermann!

We had a wonderful time @ Ellen’s place. All was as it was described. We really enjoyed the patio. It was private & a great place to visit. We recommend this Air B & B

Our family reserved the whole house and apartment. It was very comfortable and a beautiful location. Clean, great communication with the owners and booking through Air BnB. It is a bit secluded which was great for us, we enjoyed the peacefulness and beautiful scenery and wildlife. The apartment is set up for wheelchair accessory, kitchen, bathroom, doors, are all set up for this convenience if needed. We mostly used the main house for kitchen. Absolutely beautiful and so clean! Loved it!

We greatly enjoyed the stay. The host offered suggestions and even left us a bottle of wine as well as coffee and bottled water. Shuttle picks up by the house. Only thing that I would caution someone on is that there is another apartment in the basement and you can hear them. So when we were there, we could hear their music downstairs.

It's in a great spot, easy to walk into town if you don't mind the hill. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the sunrise over the river behind the courthouse -- it would have been a perfect shot. The view overlooking the river was great.

We four come to Hermann every October, usually on the first weekend of the month. Over the years, we have stayed in the Hermann Motel in town, and a couple of the motels up on I-70 in New Florence. The farm was by far our favorite place to stay. It is so peaceful and quiet, particularly at night, quite a contrast from staying in town or in roadside places. We hope to come back next year, and have only good things to report about our visit. On a side note, the farm reminded me of my late parents' home, which was on several acres in the middle of woods on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They are both long gone, and so it's been years since I stayed in that house, but the tranquility and peace of the farm was almost like being in the woods of Michigan again. ❤️

I cannot say enough about our stay. We have traveled extensively over many years and this is absolutely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The home and outside property are both everything you could hope for. The entire property is spotless and so well stocked that we wanted for nothing. I will start with the inside a large variety of coffee options including flavored syrups, snacks, milk, a dozen fresh eggs, a dozen homemade cookies, a lovely candle as a gift, tooth brushes, combs, soap, shampoo, conditioned, etc. They thought of everything! The outside has a beautiful gazebo, fire pit with nice chairs, a saucer swing in front and back yard, tether ball in back yard, hillbilly golf game in garage. The list goes on and on. This is located in the country with an amazing view but only 3 miles to town. The owner was also the best I have worked with, providing fast responses and just a wonderful person. I hope I find a need to pass through here again! Thank you Abigail

The outdoor picture does not match, as the landscape has changed with the replacement of concrete over lawn. Just an updated picture of the curb view would be helpful, but certainly nothing to be upset about, still a wonderful stay.

As someone who travels for work full time this hands down the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Rachel is great !

Perfect location to stay next to some wedding venues

Another great stay! Angela was responsive and helpful when we forgot to ask about the EV charger, and we fully charged our car for the rest of our road trip. The living room also has a great TV setup, which we enjoyed using this time around.

We had a great stay here. We realized after we arrived that we had previously stayed at the home next door. It's a great little lake with kayaks and a paddle boat. We also used the fire pit for smores. We went to the pool area and also attended a summer concert and fairy garden class. Peaceful stay!

This a nice house in the middle of nowhere. Very peaceful not too far from Herman. Had a great stay.

What a wonderful stay! We were met at the beginning of the long gravel driveway and guided to the house. The house was perfect for our group of seven. The absolutely beautiful and peaceful surroundings were highlighted by deer, turkeys and the cows and chickens on the property. Our host, Sam, gave us a tour of the house and gave us local restaurant and winery recommendations. I'm sure we'll be repeat customers.
