The arena is only 4 km away and excursion destinations such as the old village of Westerholt, 3 castles, 2 golf courses are within walking distance. Our domicile is ideally suited as a starting point for cycling tours, e.g. to Halden and industrial monuments. Restaurants/cafes are nearby, otherwise Senseo coffee machine, kettle and fridge are available.

Dortmund, Bochum and Gelsenkirchen are a 30-minute drive away.

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.
