Very pleasant stay with friendly, accommodating hosts.

Stayed around a month in Sam’s place. Good location: opposite tescos, about 10mins walk to train station and town. Apartment: a small room with single bed, bathroom and kitchen area. It’s small, neat and tidy, and kept quite cool despite the mid 20s temperature outside. Overall this was an easy to use and convenient place for me to stay while i worked in London.

I booked with Mark for 2 nights, as a base for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready and my first night with my new husband. They were so accommodating, for any requests, even left us a cheeky bottle of prosecco! lovely touch. house was lovely, clean, and spacious. definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here! Staying in a house instead of an apartment made such a difference, way more space and just more comfortable overall. The separate living room was a big bonus, with the sofa bed, it could easily work as a fourth bedroom. The open-plan kitchen and dining area felt really modern and high-end, definitely nicer than other places I’ve stayed. The style and finish throughout the house are gorgeous, really well done. Bathrooms were fresh, clean, and great to use, and having three toilets was a real plus. The location was super convenient too, under 20 minutes into London by train, with St Albans right nearby, but the house itself is tucked away on a quiet, friendly street. Would definitely stay again Host was super friendly and helpful Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. Thumbs up from me.
