Torhaus in Kemel

Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

Modern living in the historic cowshed (Apartment No. 2)

Our listed barn has been shining in new splendor since 2018 and 2025: In May 2018, we started to expand four 1-room apartments, each with their own bathroom and their own kitchenette. Apartment 2 offers approx. 25 sqm of space for 2 people and is completely newly furnished (box spring beds, armchair, wardrobe, TV with DVD, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with toilet, washbasin and spacious shower). Look forward to: "Historic building fabric meets modern furnishings!"

Cozy apartment on idyllic farm complex

The location is an ideal starting point for visiting Kassel with its museums, parks, the Documenta and the fairs, but also to the half-timbered town of Melsungen, Lake Edersee or the animal parks in Knüllwald or Sababurg. From here you can take wonderful hikes in fantastic scenery. Whether as a romantic or simply cozy stay as a couple, with friends or with the family, this is the right accommodation on a beautiful farm complex with an idyllic garden.

Michels Mühle - up de lütt Deel

The holiday apartment "Michels Mühle - up de lütt Deel" is located in Brilon, in a 600-year-old water mill that has been completely refurbished. It is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing getaway. The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls) as well as satellite TV.

Köbelerhof - Stylishly furnished country apartment

The Köbelerhof is a paradise for nature lovers - as a former estate of the nearby Arnstein Monastery this farm is still actively managed and maintained today. Surrounded by its own fields and forests, the farm is located in the middle of the Nassau Nature Park. From the front door, you can take undisturbed walks for hours along the Dörsbach in the Jammertal or the Lahn, where you can relax at beautiful viewpoints over the valleys.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Maisonette - Converted barn with loggia & veranda

For lovers of an extraordinary and cozy living atmosphere in a green idyll - yet close to the city - with shopping close by. The large country-style apartment on two floors is equipped with many amenities, suitable for relaxing on the large loggia on the upper floor or the covered veranda in the entrance area. But also hikes in the beautiful Hessian mountains, bike tours or boat tours on the Fulda are worthwhile.

Where to sing, settle down, bad people have no songs (Johann Gottfried Seume) Formerly an old barn, today a cozy, exceptional guest house with lots of music in the old walls! They occupy the entire villa over 2 floors. On the mezzanine, the large living room, where the old barn beams are still visible, dominates. At the same time kitchen, dining area, cozy lounge area with sofas, piano, smart TV and balcony.

Whether hiking through the Yellow Valley or shopping in the outlet center: Our apartment is the ideal starting point for your activities. You don't have to search for a parking space for long, there is enough space! Fresh eggs and much more can be found in our farm shop.
