Das Haus am See ist in Finnland mehr als eine Ferienunterkunft, das "Mökki" zwischen Wald und Wasser ist ein Sehnsuchtsort. Es wird sauniert, gewandert, mit dem Boot gefahren, durchgeatmet. Unser Mökki befindet sich am bewaldeten Südufer des Möhnesees. Und bietet hier ein bisschen finnisches Lebensgefühl. Das Häuschen steht nah am See, zurückgezogen und umgeben von Bäumen und Sträuchern. Es verfügt über eine eigene Außensauna, ein Boot und einen Kaminofen. Willkommen in eurem privaten Hideaway!

Das in 2020 fertig gestellte Ferienhaus bietet auf 57qm zwei Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Küche mit Essbereich, Bad + Regendusche sowie eine finnischen Sauna (50-70 Grad), Holzofen ein Ambiente, das selbst kalte und regnerische Tage behaglich macht. Der Blick aus den bodentiefen Fenstern und von der 40qm Terrasse richtet sich auf das große Aussengelände und lädt zum Entspannen draußen in direktem Kontakt zur Natur ein. In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

Vacation home on the edge of the forest "Silberhaus" with sauna

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. Thanks to its high-quality amenities and a number of extras, such as an infrared cabin, a wood-burning stove, a sauna on the terrace with an outdoor shower, a large terrace with a view of the forest, and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake. Sun loungers, a SuP and a kayak are available there.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
