Holiday rentals with lake access in High Point

Absolute perfect place for a long weekend getaway. House was perfect with so much to do inside and out. We definitely plan to stay again thru the years when visiting family. Definitely recommend.

This place matched our needs perfectly. We were there to graduate my kids from the homeschool conference in Wiston-Salem and we needed a place the extended family could stay over the weekend, and we wanted a place we could invite their friends to after the ceremony. All the family was comfortable a well entertained with the pool table, fire ring, pond, and large yard. We made s'mores played games and had a good time. Friends came over for supper and enjoyed all the same amenities. The basement was perfect to set up the food and we had tables outside and it worked well for everyone to wander in and out. We appreciated and used the Keurigs on both levels a lot. Thank you for supplying the coffee and fixings. We found a waffle iron and had a waffle bar for breakfast. All the appliances we could have wanted were there toasters, air fryers, crock pots. It was well stocked. I spoke with the neighbors to make sure the extra cars were not going to impose on them and they were lovely.

We had a great time with our family for my daughter's graduation. Loved the layout of the house and we took advantage of all the amenities. Jeremy was always available for us. House in very convenient to stores. The house has strict rules and close by neighbors who will contact the host. We communicated beforehand of our plans for a small family gathering after graduation and were still contacted to make sure we weren't breaking any rules after the neighbors saw extra cars in the driveway. That said I would certainly book again in the future.

I loved the home, yard and area. I got the much needed rest I really needed. I will be returning. You can’t put a price on peace and quiet. The kitchen had everything and even more. I enjoyed watching old movies. The decorations if they had been for sale, yes I would have bought a few of them. The bed was very, very comfortable. Enjoy your stay. I did.

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was great, private but not secluded. Host was super responsive, we even decided to extend our trip and he was super helpful and responsive when it came to that! Beautiful place, loved it!

Selden was a great host! He communicated quickly, checked in on me, and made adjustments to the temperature quickly. The space is great and perfect for one or two people. It was clean and had everything I needed. The check-in was easy and the instructions were spot on. I stayed at Selden's place for 9 weeks and would stay there again as well as recommend it to everyone.

What an absolute treat to get to stay on Tanglewood Property during the Festival of Lights! We stayed the night before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Peyton gave us great instructions on how to get into the park via the back entrance and we had no problems with entry or exit. It was so quiet and the place was very comfortable. We walked all around Tanglewood and felt like we had a mini-vacation just a few miles from our son's home. We are already trying to figure out when we can go there again!

This is a great place to relax and be away from people. The neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen had literally everything you could need to cook some great meals and enjoy it on the porch. The house was perfect for our stay.

If I could rate 10 stars I would, this place was beautiful. We fell in love with it right away. Our dogs and little toddler loved the fenced in yard. They were able to run and play without any care in the world, of course making the parents stress free. Everything was very easy to use to the kayaks, hot tub and getting in and out. The kayaks were magical in the water. The host was very responsive and helped with anything we needed. We didn’t want to leave that was the most disappointing thing. We wish we could stay forever! Definitely will be back and will forever be our vacation spot. Definitely got yourself some loyal guest!

Very nice place with a beautiful view! Everything in the description was accurate. We had teenagers that occupied their time which was very nice! We will visit again!

Great little place! Easy to get to, far enough out to be quiet but not too far from the main roads. It was nice to sit out on the swings and relax.

Cyndy’s location was so serene. The tree house was exactly as described. Very clean and “homey “. There was a full kitchen with made it easy to cook and clean. The location is amazing. enjoyed waking the sanctuary and absorbing nature. The walking trails were great for a light run and animal watching. If you are looking for a quick escape from the everyday environmental noise and congestion. No TV... Wifi available( you will not need it) ... No neighbors..... BOOK this place! I think I will make this a yearly mini-retreat for my wife and me 💕

This was the best Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. The host was very communicative before and after check in. Check in was simple and flexible. The description of this home understates how wonderful it is. From our first view of the quaint cottage look of the landscaped yard and picturesque front porch, we were impressed. The inside of the house was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The towels and bedding were all top quality. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the lake from the main bedroom was fantastic. The best part of the home, however, was the back porch and multiple layers of decking overlooking the water. All of the outdoor space was furnished with sturdy comfortable furniture. There was a grill and a couple of fire tables. The docks were set up for relaxation and entertainment. The home provided kayaks, a place to fish, and even an outdoor TV. Indoors there were plenty of board games, puzzles and books to enjoy. This is a super place!

Stephanie was easy to get ahold of, made check in and out seamless. The surroundings were beautiful, and the home had plenty of space for me and my family.

We had a wonderful time at Linda’s house. It was a great retreat after celebrating our sons college graduation. It was nice to wake up and sit outside in a peaceful surrounding. Great property to explore. Her house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks again Linda!
