Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hillerød Municipality

Very cozy place that's livable beyond extreme — it's actually lived in by the host family between the stays. Everything's provided and still there's well-marked space for what the guests have to bring and store. The cats are pretty much self-catering and self-caring, and their company is stellar! We and our kids just loved that. The forest walkways nearby were very handy and popular too. Super quiet sleeping, the surroundings are absolutely dead at night... though, unlike us, some super-sensitive sleeper may occasionally notice someone else in the house getting around at night — the floors add a bit to the place's character. By the way, at least three different supermarkets are at a stone's throw by the car.

If you are looking for a perfect example of a turn of the century Danish house this a great one. A beautiful terrace and garden in a typical Danish town.

Christina is a very nice host! Communication was great and always friendly. In case of problems, she responded immediately. Those who like authentic, Scandinavian style are in the best hands in this house. Very stylish furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. You just shouldn't be bothered by one or the other spider that finds the way from the large garden into the house😉

We had a very pleasant weekend getaway in Hillerød. Mathilde was very nice and quickly responded to our request and accommodated us even though we booked at the last minute. The home is nice and perfectly situated for visiting Frederiksborg Slot and the town. It was also within walking distance to a nice pizzeria and a grocery store, so it was very easy to get whatever we needed. Highly recommended!

Claus’s apartment was perfect for my business associate and myself. We were in town for the week for some training for work. Nice quiet location right across the street from the castle. Nice little bakery and a grocery right down the street . Place was very clean and a lot more comfortable than a hotel. We arrived early in the morning and our host didn’t have any problem with an early check in. Actually way cheaper than the hotels in town and more room to relax in after long days working. I will definitely book the apartment again next time I come over for work.

Lina is a very nice and helpful hostesses. She cares about the environment and climate which we appreciate a lot. And the house is full of art - it's super wholesome. We really enjoyed the farm life vibe at the house. There is horses close by. And Linas chickens just wandered into the garden and greeted us and out baby - so cute. The house is placed in quiet surroundings - only five minutes by car to nearest shopping and train possibilities. We would definitely recommend her place to others:)

We had to stay a few days when we had to attend my daughter's handball competition. Absolutely amazing experience! Mette and her husband are very nice. We were offered freshly baked buns, had a few nice chats, and communication was quick and accurate. We were also spoiled with a few coke in the fridge. The home is very clean and neat. Good bed! Lovely view, quiet surroundings. We don't have a single complaint - everything has exceeded our expectations. We'd love to come back another time. My stay was excellent. The place was spotless, as shown in the pictures, and very well located. The host was always friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any questions. The attention to detail was evident, which made me feel very comfortable from the start. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

Beautiful apartment! The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom very spacious. We parked the car in front of the house and took the bus to the city center (in front of the house). The environment is very beautiful and peaceful.

Very suitable for two people and a short stay. The mattress of the bed is good and not soft, we could sleep well, unfortunately it became very bright in the bedroom early, as the windows could not be completely darkened. We had our own bikes with us and were able to park in the basement that night, convenient. There was also a workspace in the extra room, which we also needed, great.

Jakob is very personable and welcomed us personally. We immediately felt comfortable in the beautifully furnished apartment. We were allowed to use the garden at any time. By S-Bahn train, you can reach the city center quickly and Hellerup train station is very close. We thank Jakob and Les for their hospitality and wish them all the best.

Very clean accommodation, very well appointed and large enough that the bed in the main room is not a problem. The area is very quiet and easy to get to the city center on foot. Everything was perfect We recommend 200%!

Loved this place! Peaceful, located right next to the forest. Easy access to Copenhagen. Thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for cooking. We hope to be back one day.
