Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hilltops Council

We were able to relax in comfort after our busy days dog showing & our dogs enjoyed being out & about in the garden. The very well equipped kitchen was easy to use. We had a problem with the TV but Jane was able to fix it very quickly. We can thoroughly recommend this comfortable bungalow.

This house was perfect for 2 families staying for a long weekend. We came into a warm house with the heaters and fire already going for us which was very welcoming on a cold day. The kitchen was so spacious and had everything we needed. The backyard was huge and the kids enjoyed playing outside. The bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfy and warm. The whole house was spacious for 8 of us and was very charming. Our hosts gave us so many recommendations for the local area which we found very helpful and they were very responsive. Would highly recommend booking here and we would love to come and stay again.

We had a wonderful and refreshing stay at this beautiful property. The place was spotless, exactly as described, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings, nestled beside scenic farmlands, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. A truly serene retreat! We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We could not speak more highly of our stay at Martina Cottage. It was comfortable, clean and calm. Kim provided tasty breakfast selections, yummy treats and a nice bottle of wine which we enjoyed beside the fire. Being made to feel so welcome and having every need anticipated was a delight. Take advantage of the availability of home cooked meals if you don’t want to venture away from the fire. The lasagne we purchased was perfect. Thank you Kim for all your attention to detail. It definitely was our best ever Airbnb experience both in Australia and overseas. We will be back!

Thank you , Sarah for hosting us! Wonga Homestead was welcoming, comfortable and beautifully situated in gardens with a fabulous pool. There was plenty of room for all of us to come together but also to have quiet time. Communication was clear, responsive and helpful. We did not have any concerns or trouble staying at the house. We enjoyed our stay, relaxing in and by the pool, playing in the gardens and going into town for shops and to wander. A lovely getaway. A beautiful house to base yourself to explore our wonderful country.

Group of 8 mid-40s girlfriends had a lovely stay in the old Convent. Everyone had a beautiful comfortable room of their own, and a kitchen/dining/living room that felt like home to catch up in. Homely touches such as a great coffee machine, condiments, loads of glassware and serving bowls, all make it practical and welcoming. Cold dreary weather meant we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much, but we rugged up and walked to the historic sites nearby and the local pub. We hope to return to the Convent (and Thorpie!) one day soon!

our second stay at Cath's place. perfect for a family get together. space for everyone, with multiple living areas and bedrooms. gorgeous gardens for the kids, they loved playing hide and seek. useful amenities for little ones too. well equipped kitchen. we'll be back next year!

Once I located the heaters and turned them on Chris's place was very cosy and warm during one of NSW's arctic blasts. Fully equipped kitchen was great and very comfortable lounge to watch the Olympics in the evening. My 2 small dogs(bichons) were very comfortable during their stay. Only a short drive to Harden showgrounds which was great as we were competing in the dog shows.

Great accommodation and great host. Nic always goes the extra mile and is extremely accommodating. When we are in Yass, will definitely rebook. Highly recommend.

Rob and Justine’s place was great. We felt right at home. It’s spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen. It was walking distance to everything. The beds were comfortable and crisp clean sheets. We would stay again
