Amazing place! Highly recommend. Property is beautiful, easy access to all lake activities, private and quiet, high end amenities, whole experience was perfectly designed down to every last detail. Can't recommend enough and will definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay and amazing host! The communication was excellent from start to finish. When I made a booking mistake, the host handled it with kindness and flexibility. The place was a bit tricky to find, but she has clear directions that she shares with you as soon as you book. She was also very accommodating with my check-in time, which I appreciated after coming straight from work. Although the cabin is attached to the main house, it’s separated by a locking door, and we had complete privacy. Walter and Winnie, the basset hounds, were adorable and friendly! I especially enjoyed birdwatching and seeing a group of deer in the valley at dusk—so peaceful. Cleanup instructions were simple, and even after we left, the host was kind and quick to answer questions about booking again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Our family thrived at Liz’s cabin! The river was perfect for my younger kids—calm and shallow in most areas, great for first-time kayakers. For more adventure, we tried paddling upstream, which was a fun challenge and a great life lesson in perseverance! Downstream and around the cabin is smooth and peaceful, perfect for kids. I recommend bringing a cooler with simple meal ingredients. I packed sandwich supplies but wished I’d brought more—vodka pasta would be ideal here! I made a quick run into town for spaghetti, but options are limited (as Liz notes in her very helpful guide). We also had dinner at Pokegama Lakeside—great food, a beautiful lake view, and an authentic Native American canoe on display! Liz has created a truly magical place. The natural landscaping, cozy cabin details, and high-quality linens made it so comfortable. Thank you, Liz, for such a special stay!

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

We found a fantastic getaway spot outside the Twin Cities that was just the right distance for my family. It offered the perfect break from our daily routine, and we had everything we needed. The friendly hosts were always quick to respond and help with any questions or needs. The hammocks and hot tub/rec room were a huge hit with my family. I highly recommend it for a mini getaway.

We loved our stay at this beautiful and very private cabin. Obviously the photos are gorgeous and we knew we were going to love the overall feel, but it truly is wonderful being there. The giant windows open to the lake view and surrounding woods is heaven and are the part that I miss the most now that we're home. We really liked the fact that the cabin has a lived in feel (in the best way). I was worried that it would be TOO perfect and I wouldn't want to touch anything. LOVED the sauna so so much and it was beyond amazing that our lab was able to come with us. They had all the kitchen appliances/tools you'd need and having life jackets to use was awesome. I think reviews are such a good way to gain feedback from guests so I'll just list a few improvements/preferences here: softer sheets, a scissors, and a mop/swiffer to keep the floors clean. This cabin was very very tranquil and quiet during the week which is exactly what we were hoping for. We'd love to come back in the winter!

My stay at The Woodlands was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, cozy, and deeply restorative. The cabin has a peaceful, tucked-away feel that made it easy to unplug and settle into stillness. I spent the weekend journaling, reading, and just breathing, with no pressure to be anywhere but there. While there were tons of trails to hike and stars to gaze, I didn’t venture out much—sometimes the best kind of retreat is the one where you don’t feel the need to do anything at all if your content and coszy staying in. The space itself is thoughtfully laid out and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of rustic charm and intentional care. I’m so grateful for the chance to stay—it was exactly the reset I needed.

Scott was friendly and helpful! Cabin 2 was beautiful and had a great view of the lake! Highly recommend and we will be back again!

Amazing place with a very responsive and kind host

The cabin is big, plenty of room for a large family. Lots of things to do both inside & outside. It's a quiet location. Not far from a small grocery place & fuel if needed. I enjoyed coffee in the sunroom every morning while watching for wildlife! Owners answer any questions quickly & efficiently.

Brandi and her place was amazing! Fit all our needs, close to our event in solon springs but still felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Great views of the water from the living room table. Very clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend!

This place was very cool and unique! I was in the area for a kayak fishing tournament and needed a place to park my trailer, charge my batteries and get some sleep. This was exactly what I was looking for. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean and matched the description. The setting is very peaceful and quiet with plenty of space for parking. I could have gotten a hotel room or stayed at a resort, but this was a much better experience! I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was cozy and nicely decorated. Dawn & Team were great - very easy to work with, easy check-in, etc.

The little red cabin was the perfect getaway for a relaxing girls trip. Incredibly cute, cozy, and well styled. I loved the vinyl player! Definitely added to the relaxing atmosphere to put on a record while we decompressed. Lots to do in the area if you enjoy the outdoors as well. Kayaking down the St. Croix was the perfect way to see some scenery and still beat the heat. I would love to come back again when we could enjoy more outdoor time without overheating.

We have only come in the warmer months so this was a real treat to come in the winter. Easy to use indoor fireplace and kitchen has everything we needed. Grocery store either in Hinckley or Danbury. We went snowshoeing right after a snowfall. It was beautiful and got a bit lost; we should've brought a map that is provided in the cabin...We called and owners immediately helped us by co.ing to rescue us from the trails around Beaver Pond. We will be back this summer and again next Winter!!!

An elevated cabin in the woods to decompress and reemerge renewed. A few of my favorite things: Privacy, yahtzee, the bluetooth radio, shower, pour over coffee, comfortable bed, the tall ceilings and window, good internet, secluded but not cut off from civilization, the bunnies.

This quaint little cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The lakeview was gorgeous and it was lovely to sit outside and listen to/see all of the different birds. While most of our time was spent away from the cottage, it was the perfect place to come home to at the end of the night with the quietness of the area and the comfortable bed. Overall, a great getaway where we could relax and enjoy the beauty.

Do yourself a favor and book this home now 😌 Everything was perfect and truly this was one of the best air bnb’s I have stayed at. The cabin has everything you could possibly need during your stay and the views were incredible. The most perfect peaceful getaway. Will be repeat visitors!

Great place to escape to. Not very far from the city but offered the peace and tranquility we were looking for. The place was very clean and cozy. Definitely recommend to anyone who's considering this place. You won't regret it.

Very nice layout. Big bunk room with connected bathroom/laundry on one side and a private master with king sized bed and a shared bathroom on the other. Cozy living room/dining room connected to the spacious kitchen with island. Just off the living room is French doors to a covered porch with a wall of windows overlooking the lake, which is only steps away.
