We completed this dream chalet with about 200 m² of usable space in 2020 to spend our vacations in the beautiful Lachtal together with our two children. Chalet Triebenstein

Fully equipped chalet with 4 bedrooms / 10 beds. All additional charges are already included in the price (final cleaning, bed linen, local tourist tax). Towels/bath towels can be rented for €7 per set. Two baby cots, a high chair and a children's chair are available free of charge. Please note: For existing bookings made before 8 September 2026, the tourism tax must be paid separately, as stated at the time of booking (€4.80 per night for adults / €1.00 per night for children aged 6–15).

The chalet, built in 2018, is located on a sunny slope in the top row in Almdorf with the best panoramic view, 1,300 meters above sea level and just a "stone's throw" from the ski lift (about 300 m) and the visible ski slope. Our dreamlike Chalet Sonnenschein is located in the middle of the small village of Hohentauern at 1275 meters above sea level and is perfect as a starting point for winter activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing and ski tours. It has a ski box, 2 parking spaces and a covered house access from the carport. In the house we offer a spacious living room with dining area, a sun-drenched conservatory and a very well equipped kitchen. On the 2nd floor there is a bathroom and 3 bedrooms.

Our holiday home is situated in the mountain village and ski centre Hohentauern (1270 m). You’ll love it at our place, the old building – dating back to the 15th century – has a fantastic atmosphere, but you still have all the modern comforts to enjoy. The pistes and cross country ski trails are just a few steps away, while in summer marked footpaths pass by right beside the cottage. Our accommodation is fantastic for 2 families with children or groups of friends.

We wish you relaxing days in our chalet. In summer, you can start hiking and biking directly from the chalet. In winter, you can strap on your skis or snowboards directly and hit the slopes in the Hohentauern ski resort. We acquired the chalet in October 2023 and will gradually modernize it. We started with the large terrace outside. Our outdoor sauna, built in November 2024, is of course also available to you.

Our stylish and luxurious alpine chalet is located at 1400 m above sea level. Enjoy the 80 m² terrace with panoramic sauna and jacuzzi. The secluded location makes our chalet with a bottle of wine from the in-house wine cellar something very special. In winter, the Kreischberg, Grebenzen and Lachtal areas invite you to ski. In summer, hikes and a visit to the district capital of Murau are recommended.

Premium Chalet # 62 with Sauna & Whirlpool

Bad weather? You are just chilling in the outdoor jacuzzi and look from there directly on the ski slope opposite. Until the snow clouds clear in Hohentauern and you enjoy a snowshoe hike through the Upper Styrian mountains. The Chalet is particularly spacious with 140 m² and can accommodate up to 8 people. (Up to 7 adults & 1 child due to a bunk bed with sloping roof).
