Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hollola

A peaceful cabin in the woods and right by the lake. Comfortable double bed, well equipped kitchen, rather dated furnishings but that just adds to the charms. Views from the kitchen table of the surrounding farmland and woods. The lake was lovely with swans and water lilies but too shallow and muddy to swim. Can recommend walking in the Laipanmaa hiking area and the swimming lake at Pälkäne. Karoliina was very helpful, thank you.

A very nice and relaxed month was spent with the family in the cozy and spacious house. Excellent host + lovely place to stay = ☆☆☆☆☆

The house is at an amazing place, at the head position of a lake, and around it there is a very nice forest-like scenery. We really enjoyed the stay. The house had all amenities, the grill was fairly clean, the surroundings were in a good shape. We had two minor observations, which don’t actually altered our stay but are of those things that can give you an extra smile or some “huh” if are or aren’t there, respectively. The first is the arrangement of beds. The listing clearly says about three king/double-sized beds and two single ones, but there were two king/double-sized and four single ones. Not biggie, but it is not according to the listing. I mean, yes we could put the two single ones together, but still these would not have a smooth, common surface, instead they will have that bump in the middle. The second, minor one, is that the boat needed some cleaning. We did it and it was a fun activity to do, and to be fair the previous days the weather was a bit rainy. Still…

The visit was really nice. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lots of things to do. We could not complete it in 3 days. Very much child friendly.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

We had a fantastic summer vacation in this lovely and comfortable lakeside cottage. The pier terrace is ideal and the house comes with everything you need in a beautiful setting. The second guest house is also a very nice plus. Seppo and Tarja were charming and thoughtful hosts at all times. Thank you for everything! Highly recommended.

Fantastic home and lovely area

Absolutely amazing cottage, much bigger and more spacious than I thought. Everything and more was found for our needs. In a wonderfully peaceful place, I also highly recommend it!

Juha, is very flexible and friendly. Everything went as expected and the location very comfortable. The Sauna was fantastic and there were convenience stores close to the location.

This place was well suited for a group of four adults. There was plenty of space and a big plus that there are 2 toilets. Own terrace and grill brought a good summer feeling. I highly recommend

The apartment was gorgeous and as pictured. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of space. Our party of four fit in their own space. Everything went well!

Great place to stay in Lahti!

We had a great stay at this superb villa in Päijänne. Villa was even more impressive than in photos and everything was high quality, very clean and well maintained. Beach sauna and jacuzzi were the perfect combo to relax in the evening. Highly recommend for a getaway in nature.

A lovely place in the countryside with a beautiful landscape, charming old buildings, a great sauna and most of all: amazing and friendly hosts! We received valuable help from the hosts to make our stay memorable and wonderful! A perfect place for a small group of friends to spend a peaceful weekend. Spacious and well-equipped accommodation in a good location. The host's communication and operation is exemplary and flexible, and nothing was left unclear or to chance. A warm recommendation from me!

Pia and Matti went above and beyond to make out family feel welcome. The place is really spacious and worked perfectly for our extended family. The house feels like a home immediately as you step in. The uninterrupted lake view, 2 x saunas and a very nice TV room with a woodburner/fireplace make it a great stay in the winter as well. Simply a Five Star place with very nice hosts.

Amazing villa. Beds great for sleeping, quality linens/towels. Well-equipped kitchen, quality dishes. Tidy yard. Fenced yard, where the dog could move freely. Recommended!

Had a fantastic stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and private with lake views galore. The immaculate sauna is a stones throw from the beach and the hot tub is even closer. We went in August and the entire house was surrounded by ripe wild ligonberries and blueberries. The house is very comfortable, especially the kitchen and dining area. There were way fewer bugs than I was expecting out by the lake, but this still probably is not the place to take your sister-in-law from the city who freaks out if she sees a bumblebee or a fly. Arttu and Paula were very welcoming and had great recommendations in Finland and Estonia. Already scheming as to how we can come back for more Sauna, lake, repeat. Highly recommend.
