Holiday rentals with lake access in Hombrechtikon

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located directly on the lake shore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we might not be able to find the house and waited for us until check-in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more beautiful than that.. (Actually, I talked about the scenery alone. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my own eyes. I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. If the surroundings are too dark, it may be difficult to find, so please pay attention to the check-in time! If you are late like us, you will suffer a lot. Even though we arrived later than the original check-in time, the host was very worried that we would not be able to find the house and waited for us to check in. The host was very kind and thoughtful. The conditions at the house were impeccable and the scenery was even better. I was very satisfied with the sauna. It can be difficult to visit when the surroundings get too dark, so pay attention to the check-in time! If you're late with us, you'll suffer a lot.

We stayed here with a family of 6 and had a great time! We actually are booking it again to return to Germany from Italy. So, would definitely stay again!😊

The contact was very kind. André gave us great tips and clearly communicated. The house and especially the kitchen is well equipped! We were all very comfortable :)

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

Stefan’s flat is the perfect base to explore lake Zurich and surroundings. It was a great first home in Switzerland for us throughout when we first arrived and had to get ourselves set up. They’ve done an excellent job at equipping the flat; it has everything you need an more and it is kept immaculate. The garden is a great place to unwind after a busy day. Highly recommended!

Everything was great from front to back. Super nice apartment, great location, extremely warm and helpful hosts. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back :)

Pete & Tessa’s place was amazing for our 3 night stay in Lucern! It was really easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, the place had a lovely view and it was very very confortable! Very spacious and a lot of amenities to enjoy a super pleasant stay We will for sure come back! Thank you for having us

Fantastic location that boasts great views. Reto and Michaela were exceptional at communication. Michaela gave us a warm welcome and a tour of the house while mentioning to us some of its features like how to operate the washing machine. The kayak experience (which was complimentary from our stay) guided by Reto was lovely and we enjoyed it very much. Home was lovely and clean and contained all the amenities required. Highly recommend 😀

Highly recommended. Beautiful view of the lake and mountain panorama. Great central starting point for all kinds of activities in Switzerland. Very friendly and easily accessible host who responded quickly with solutions. Very nice and clean place to stay. We will be happy to come back.

This rental and location were superb. James was very responsive to questions. Loved how walkable it was to the train station and restaurants. We spent a day at Mt Pilatus and a day on the Stoos Ridge hike. One of the rooms had air conditioner issues, but James was working to have it repaired. The rooftop terrace was delightful for morning coffee and evening night caps. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay with Avril and Ruedi Bill was perfect. The studio is superbly located and exactly as described. Avril and Ruedi are very nice and well organized. Highly recommended, come back anytime!
