Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Honolulu

We loved this place! It was definitely one of the more reasonable cost rentals in the Lanikai neighborhood but it didn’t disappoint. A few things of note: - the appliances are high end KitchenAide and Bosch. The cooktop is a two burner induction that you can put away when not in use. Toaster oven as well. Compact dishwasher and fridge is a one drawer fridge/ one drawer freezer that fits under counter - ample beach towels. Also beach chairs and umbrellas. - the pool was wonderful - less than 10 min walk to Lanikai Beach - do the pillbox hike up the ridge behind you if you want a good workout! We loved our week here. Always planned to cook out on the Weber grill but didn’t end up doing so. The patio was awesome at the end of each day and for morning coffee. Neighborhood was safe. Met the pest control guy and the pool guy while we were here- both really friendly. Would definitely choose this place again.

We would highly recommend Cary’s place and will definitely come back! It is spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and in a great location. It’s Literally 1 block from one of the best beaches in the world. The house itself is large and comfortable, with dining tables, couches , 3 bathrooms etc. the house is really well stocked - everything to cook, AC units everywhere, and so many beach toys (wagons, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc). Cary was also super responsive and helpful even with restaurant and other recommendations. The house could use a few minor maintenance repairs but nothing significant.

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

Overall great experience! I was able to book last minute and get quickly approved to stay. Hosts were very responsive and supportive. The room itself was just right including fans and AC if needed. Best part was having a full kitchen, not many other locations in the area have. Perfect spot to easily access Waikiki, Ala Moana and near by food trucks or restaurants. Walkable distance to near by beach and food. I would definitely book again in the future!

This property is beautiful, close to the beach, and close to the amazing town of Hale’iwa! Our stay contributed to an amazing vacation in a beautiful destination. Amenities were incredible, communication from host was clear and consistent, and we had a very comfortable stay while exploring O’ahu. Overall, an awesome experience and will for sure be visiting the island again.

This location is just perfect. My tip to avoid paying the expensive parking in the building is to drive around the place looking for a street parking. We found street parking almost everyday, walking time around 15min. It is small but it has all you need :)

Tiffany was an amazing host and provided a truly incredible space. A professional through and through. From her personable responses, helpful communication, and an extremely clean and welcoming living space, her place was better than advertised and felt like home. Made for a truly special experience! Great stay and we would’ve booked for a longer trip for this Airbnb but our family provided for the rest of our stay. My partner and I enjoyed all the amenities especially since we had our baby with us. Besides the beautiful view and the thought out room design. It really made a difference with everything provided from the kitchen, parking, even the amenities for the beach. Jayden and his team were very responsive. We had kindly asked to check in early which I was hoping for and felt so grateful to have been accommodated because traveling with a baby is literally the Olympics. I truly appreciate him and his team!! I definitely would recommend this airbnb to my friends, family, and to the person who is reading this review!!

We had an amazing stay at this modern apartment just a short walk from Waikiki Beach! The location couldn’t be better — only minutes away from the sand and all the vibrant beachside activities. The apartment itself is beautifully designed and modern and all the comforts you could ask for. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and convenient stay. Whether you’re coming for the beach, shopping, or dining this is the spot! I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Waikiki!

Had a great stay, great location and a block away from beach/restaurants. Unit looks just like it does in pictures, everything went great. Only thing I didn’t like much was ofcourse building maintenance going on in elevators and amenities such as pools/sauna were unavailable due to construction. Everything was walking distance or less than 10 minutes drive, great that the unit comes with parking. I would actually book again next visit if it’s available on my next Oahu trip.

This place was perfect for my needs. Some things I especially liked are: the overhead fan, keyless doors (especially good to not need to carry keys when swimming in the ocean), the rice cooker, and the blender for making cold drinks. I got around using the bus. This location is convenient to both the beach and the bus stops.

This was our first visit to Honolulu and staying at Kurts place made our stay that much more special. Allowing us to have an early check in when we realised we had to be off our cruise ship very early that morning made our first day much easier. The apartment has stunning views of Waikiki - waking up to them each morning was very special. The apartment is across from the zoo where you can see flamingos from the window of the apartment which we loved. The apartment has beach gear provided making days at the beach a breeze and there are plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby. Our favorites were Lulu's Waikiki and Hawaiian Aroma!

Fred's place in Honolulu was excellent—perfectly located between Ala Moana Beach and Waikiki, right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Initially, we thought about renting a car, but based on Fred's helpful advice, we decided against it. We found it easy and enjoyable to walk to either Waikiki or Ala Moana Beach, and when needed, Ubers were readily available and quick. The condo itself was well-equipped and comfortable. A dishwasher would have made things even more convenient, especially since we had breakfast there daily, but overall, the amenities provided met all our needs. Additionally, the condo is situated within the Ilikai Hotel, offering the convenience of a local market, coffee shop, and ice cream parlor right within the building. Being just behind the marina added to the appeal and convenience of our stay. You can't go wrong choosing Fred's place!

The place was in a very convenient location with walkable distance to many shops, restaurants and the beach. The building is a bit dated but the room itself is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the stay.

10/10 would book here again should I visit Oahu in the future! Katie was very quick with responding and very friendly. The condo was very clean and exactly how the pictures show.

Amazing place to stay in Honolulu! 7 min walk to Iolani palace and 2 min walk to Marugame Udon! Extremely clean which is the most important part to me as a characteristic of where I stay. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. I think my partner is going to try to buy the same exact pillows and bed now lol. I loved that we could sign into our own streaming services. The free included parking was a GODSEND! Don’t underestimate how critical that is as a cost-savings when staying in Honolulu or Waikiki. Parking is so expensive. Also only 12-16 minutes to the airport without traffic. We loved that we didn’t have to fight Waikīkī weekend traffic to get to where we were staying.

Jayden’s place was perfect for a return trip home for my husband and me! The space was incredibly clean and comfortable with an oversized bed and TV, amazing shower, and lanai that overlooks the Ala Wai. It’s always a downer to have to pay for parking but parking on Oahu is a struggle everywhere, so we were grateful that the building at least had paid parking with in/out privileges available, and that everything in Waikiki was walkable from Jayden’s spot. We would definitely book this exact Airbnb again!

We love this condo’s location. You can see the beach and the fireworks on Friday from the balcony. It is a beautiful, peaceful location.

This is a great location. I mean absolutely amazing with close access to everything. Island Diner and ABC store right below for anything essential and even food. Close to the beach and this comes with parking too. Marcos is great! Very responsive and quick to help. Place was as described. If you looking for free parking with the place this is it. Great time here and no issues.

Mari was very responsive and helped out if we had issues. Location is perfect! Beautiful beach views and large windows with great lighting all day! Many fans and an A/C unit. Balcony was great with the day bed and stools. Kid friendly, and a pack and play was provided. this property was a 5 minute walk to the beach and main drag of restaurants. Parking was a bit tight and you have to call the front desk to be let into the garage. Overall, an amazing stay and we would definitely book again!

We stayed at the Pacific Monarch from May 20–28 and had a great experience. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed for the beach—including umbrellas, backpack chairs, and boogie boards, which were incredibly convenient. While the listing mentioned an ocean view, it's worth noting that it’s more of a partial side ocean view—but still lovely to wake up to. Check-in was seamless, and we appreciated the ease of having on-site parking, which cost $35/day. One of our favorite features was the rooftop area. It offers fantastic panoramic views, a nice pool, a small jacuzzi, and even a sauna and lounge area—great spots to relax after a day out. The location is unbeatable. We were walking distance from lots of amazing food spots, and everything we needed was close by. A special shout-out to IYASUME Musubi, located right next to the hotel—it became our go-to breakfast grab on the way to the beach. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we’d definitely consider re
