I was looking for a place to stay with my teenage daughter for our weekend getaway when I came across Blaire’s listing. Our stay was perfect - cozy to just hang out as well as close to all the places we wanted to go to. My husband and I feel in love with the place. It’s beautiful worth the price. We really enjoyed it and the bed was so comfortable we slept great !! Definitely worth it.

Cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at Rivers Retreat. It truly is a magical place right next to the Washougal River where you are surrounded by nature and can hear the peaceful river below. The hosts are more than helpful and we were grateful for their recommendations. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles and relaxing by the bonfire. The indoor space was very well kept and full of amenities. We will definitely return for another stay if ever in the area.

The view did not disappoint! Wonderful little slice of the PNW, great location and a relaxing stay. As mentioned in other reviews, WiFi did not work- bring your own hotspot!

Our stay here was lovely. It’s a beautiful little development in a gorgeous location. The place had everything we needed and when the AC broke down they were super responsive by bringing in window units until they could fix it. The bed was also super comfortable. The communication and location made this spot a lovely stay and I would happily stay again!

This spot is PERFECT for exploring Hood River. There is a great bakery for a morning start two blocks away, an amazing playground a ten minute walk away and all of the main city attractions (restaurants and such) are a 15 minute walk away. It is in a quiet neighborhood and you get a view of both Mt Hood and Mt Adams walking around the neighborhood. The house itself is warm and classic. The kids toys, books, and room with a TV was great for families. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive. Couldn't recommend the spot more highly, it was the perfect stay!

This home was so peaceful and welcoming!. The sound from the waterfalls was just magical! The pictures did not do it justice. The kitchen was stocked with great cookware and sharp knives. Hard to find that at most bnb’s. Every one of us said multiple times that this was the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being a great host, Foster!

Absolutely comfortable and spacious for our 5 adults. Great kitchen/dining for cooking and games. Living space and outdoor space has enough seating for everyone. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. Had my parents with us for this trip and we’ve already discussed coming back and staying here longer next time.

My friend and I sure enjoyed our stay at Twin Oaks in Mosier! Laura was an excellent host, the house had the MOST INCREDIBLE view, felt homey and was near a lot of places to explore. We did some hiking and went to nearby Hood River once to grocery shop at a little organic market. We both felt inspired to draw the view. The bird feeders attracted so many goldfinches and tanagers, and there were always raptors soaring overhead. Great getaway! Far from the hustle (tho, yes, the gorge amplifies traffic sounds, but that wasn't a problem) but close enough that I was able to swing by Portland and visit family on my way home to Puget Sound. Wow!!!! This place is amazing, from the view to the amenities to all the things available close by this has been one of the best experiences we have had staying in an AirB&B period! The photos online are accurate but don't do justice to how comfortable and well equipped the home is! Communication with Kurt and Summyr was great and they were quick to respond to any questions that we had. We can't say enough about how great our overall stay was and highly recommend it if you are looking for a great place to stay and with awesome views!!!

Love the Welches! Been coming for years and happy to have met the new owners of Rendezvous while hanging out in Zig Zag. Great area- close to Mama Hood, many trail heads, and restaurants. Whistle Stop never disappoints. Pool was nice too!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. I stayed there for a weekend with my husband and son as we went up skiing. It was a great location. The apartment is so lovely and designed very well. The bedding in bed were very comfortable. Everything you need is there and well thought out. We would definitely stay there again.

Great walkability to downtown Hood River. Overall fairly clean place. Provided whole bean coffee and grinder. Kitchen well stocked. Large bed comfortable, smaller twin bed very uncomfortable for an adult. My 4 year old was ok to sleep in it but the whole mattress dips in the center under adult weight. Something to keep in mind if using.

Lovely apartment right in the center of town! amenities are great and the kitchen has everything you need. Doppio coffee is right under the apartment which is awesome for breakfast. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby, would love to stay again next time we're in town!

We had a wonderful time visiting Mt. Hood.! This location was very convenient and had beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommend if you plan to see the beautiful nature around Mt. Hood!

Overall, the condo was very nice and the location was excellent! Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River and directly above a wonderful coffee shop/bakery. Mary was very responsive and helpful. The one item that could use some additional explanation in the condo description was the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable but there was very limited privacy. The bedroom walls are 3/4 walls with a large space between the top of the wall and the ceiling. The bedrooms also do not have doors but have hanging drapes. As I said, the overall comfort was excellent but with two teenage boys, my husband and I felt our privacy was limited.

What a sweet, comfortable little place! We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is centrally located steps from town, and it was great walking to the coffee shop, the market, and the amazing taco truck, La Vaquita. The Mosier Plateau trail is right across the street, and the Memaloose and Rowena Crest trails are a short drive away. Things to note: there’s a lot of traffic whizzing by on the highway out front, so this isn’t a fully immersive nature experience. Once you get used to the cars, the views are amazing. The water heater is also located in the bedroom and can be a little noisy in the morning when it starts up. I’m a light sleeper and I slept just fine regardless. We’d definitely stay here again. Nothing like having the comforts of a beautiful home just steps away from nature.
