Log Home, 4 Bedrooms , 3 Baths (Sleeps 8) Our home is a custom built log home that sits on one and a half acres surrounded by national forest with a babbling brook right next to the house. Directly below the property there is a river great for fishing or hiking. Sleeping areas: Master bdrm.-1 king,2nd.bdrm.-1 king,3rd.bdrm.-1 queen,den/office- 1 double As you enter, there are many custom woodcarvings and original artworks as well as lush plants. There is an open floor-plan that includes the kitchen, dining, and living areas and features a kitchen island for entertaining built from trees from the property. Adjacent to the dining area is a sun-room. This room is cozy with a huge window to enjoy the views across the valley, sunsets and rises, golden aspens, and wildlife. At 10,700 ft, amongst a gorgeous aspen grove, and a year round babbling brook,and in floor radiant heating on custom wide plank wood floors with antique hand cut nails.Along with plentiful flagstone,slate & tile throughout,it doesn't get any better than this ! Why the Owner Chose Alma: It's incredibly peaceful! It is close to all the activities that we love as well as Breckenridge. In addition, we have a large downstairs rec room with a pool table and tv entertainment center and other games for every one to enjoy. The walk-out basement leads out to our stream side fire pit great for roasting marshmallows with your children and a mountain croquet course that you will love, along with the fabulous view!

Dewlap Lodge is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking wilderness! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of Glacier Peak and the surrounding landscape. The lodge itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The host was fantastic, providing thoughtful touches throughout the home, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and even recommendations for local hiking trails. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful retreat, this spot has it all. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the sunset from the deck was truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend Dewlap Lodge to anyone looking for a five-star experience in the Rockies!

Couldn’t say enough great things about this cabin. Exactly as described. The most peaceful get away surrounded by amazing nature. Would pay this price for the sauna, wood burning stove and heated toliet/ bidet alone. It’s rare to find “real” and cared for airbnbs anymore and this is most definitely one.

This cabin is exactly as described The cabin is beautiful. The area is amazing with amazing views plenty of snow it snowed every evening that we were there Getting up to the cabin if you are coming from a climate where it doesn’t snow it can be tricky getting up to the cabin it is up a snow covered rd As host describes and they get a lot of snow. The altitude is also very high and can be an issue as the host describes I was there with a group of 4 and we all were affected by the altitude some more than others even though we spent a full 24 hours at 5k altitude so take that into account We had a great time and would book again but for us maybe in the summer

We’re so glad we chose Brian’s cozy cabin for our annual girls trip! Brian provided detailed instructions for our stay. The views were amazing and provided the reset and connection to nature we needed. The cabin was also located in a great spot for us to easily get to plenty of hiking trails and amazing food/desserts in Breckenridge ! Would definitely recommend you check this place out :) & hopefully I can make it back one day!

Our stay in the heart ❤️of the wilderness was nothing short of magical. We were in awe of the serene beauty surrounding us and truly cherished the luxurious touches of the Haute Haus—especially the exquisite sauna and state-of-the-art gym. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views, making it even harder for us to say goodbye to such a captivating retreat. The boys delighted in every moment—building paths through the woods, sledding joyfully in the snow, crafting tunnels beneath the sparkling white, and spotting a curious fox roaming the neighborhood. This enchanting haven is a dream come true for adventurous children, all within the comfort of one incredible location. Yvonne was a phenomenal host—thoughtful, gracious, and always available when needed. Her warmth made our stay even more memorable. We would return in a heartbeat to relive the magic once more! 🏔️🌲🦊❄️🌞

Thankyou Carrie & Wiley for having us. Both were very responsive when needed. Wiley was a great character, and was more than happy to give us recommendations. The cabin and location itself is gorgeous, decorated to a high standard and was warm and cosy. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone considering booking.
