The house has everything you need, and is a good starting point to experience the area, whether it is the mountain or the sea that entices. Or if you just want to take life easy and enjoy a morning swim on the jetty and coffee with a view. There are great areas around with large swabs where you can swim, sunbathe or try the fishing shutter. Rosendal is only 3.5 km away with its magnificent mountains and wealthy cultural and serving offerings.

The house off the beaten track. If you want be totally alone in the woods in a house steeped in history, this is the place. Most of the inventory is historically and intact. A mini museum. Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Nice traditional cottage with 3 bedrooms. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Kitchen with fridge, cooking plate and microwave. There is a terrace with beautiful view over the Hardanger fjord. 2 Parking places 20m away. 15 min to beach by walk, 35 min drive to glacier summer ski center and 30 min to Odda (50 min to Trolltunga parking). There are three rooms, one with double bed (120 cm), two rooms with single bed and sleep sofa. There is also possibility to use sleeping corner under the roof.

Lovely historic wooden house in beautiful Hardanger

The house is located in a small fruit farm in Sørfjorden, Hardanger, not far fromTrolltunga and Mikkelparken ( one hour by car) It is a charming house where you can feel at home with a modern kitchen and bathroom (2015) wich is blended beautiful in with the historical furnitures and old wooden walls. The house has to bedrooms and a small sleeping-hall. It is suitable for 6 persons, a family or two couples. If you like fishing we also have a boathouse next to the fjord.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with all the modern qualities. There are heating cables on the floor, private terrace, a great wood-fired back oven and a growing area just outside. The house includes a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and cycling trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal center, 4 min away is Kaupanger center with grocery and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find pool, playground and fitness center.
