Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

Welcome to rent a nice house at Jakobsgården in the village Hökhult just outside Horn. By car, the house is about 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store and about 40 minutes from Vimmerby, where Astrid Lindgren's World is available to visit. Proximity to swimming areas in Horn and Hycklinge. In the house, there are 2 bedrooms with 5 beds as well as a sofa bed in the living room with 2 beds. On the farm, there are goats, cows, ducks and cats. When the animals need to be taken care of, we will be nearby but not at the house.

Downstairs, there is a TV room with sofa bed, a living room with fireplace, toilet with shower, spacious kitchen and dining area. Perfect for families with children or larger groups!

You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple cider directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer. Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

Bicycles are available to borrow, it is only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city center. PLEASE NOTE: The house has been expanded in 2025 to add a proper bedroom.
