Farmstay holiday rentals in Horsens Municipality

Johan's lovely little farm stay was full of wonderful surprises. From the idyllic setting, to the "local history", everything here was perfect and exactly as we were expecting :) We'd love to return!

Wow wow wow! What a special place this is, really fantastic! From the moment we arrived (we were even allowed to check in earlier due to departure time from Billund, very nice!) we felt at home in this great place. We really can't think of anything that was less or disappointing. There is everything in the cottage, from toys to basic supplies (herbs, oil, coffee, tea, etc). The rooms are all beautifully decorated. And then outside... Wow! An sea of space, the children (3&7) more than had a good time in "the playground" as they say. The animals finished it even more. And then May-Britt, a woman with a giant heart. Nothing was too crazy, we could always go for questions (and then got an extensive answer), our oldest could help in various ways (his initiative) and wanted to stay. Actually, I would say; don't book because then there is no room for us anymore. 😉 But seriously; book and enjoy! Amazing!

We made a roadstop. Check-in and communication was great. For one night with 5 people it was a good place.

Lovely place to stay With a breathtaking garden, very quiet location. Birte was very friendly, the breakfast was a dream. We will be happy to come back :)

This bed and breakfast was great. The breakfast, which can be ordered, was delightful, accommodations were top-notch., and Helene was great.

What a beautiful stay on this renovated farm and stable from the early 1900’s. Very peaceful and serine with breathtaking sunsets. The whole family enjoyed the hammock swing indoors as well as the cats and duck on the property. Michael was an extremely gracious host and made us feel like family right from the start. We even got a private tour on his Morgan around the neighborhood.

We spent a few very nice days in the large house, which has plenty of space and everything you need. The beautiful beach and shopping facilities are less than 10 minutes away. Our daughter could really let off steam in the large garden and discover nature. The beautiful and wide view of the large fields around was very relaxing. We had a lot of fun looking after the two very trusting and lovely cats. We ended the day in the large sunny square in front of the house as the sun slowly set. All in all, the house and the location are perfect for escaping the daily grind, just relax and unwind.

We spent a week here and would have loved to stay longer. The area is so quiet and peaceful. The sea view from the living room is amazing in itself. The horses right outside the window are the icing on the cake. Eli is very helpful and friendly and gave us some good tips.

I had the fortune to stay at the accommodation while the other room wasn't booked, meaning i had the entire building to myself. The building is huge and has everything you need. The private area's are just fine as well and the location is amazing. In the middle of nature and away from the busy everyday life. The backgarden with its own lake is worth a visit on itself. The hosts are very kind and social and respond very quickly if you need anything. I would definatelly recommend this place!

It's really beautiful! The house is decorated with so much love, exactly our taste! So, so beautiful. We felt very comfortable. The garden is also beautiful and the good connection to the train towards Odder and especially Aarhus is perfect. We will definitely visit again! You are great and have prepared a beautiful cottage there dear Susanne and dear Per!

What a home and what a spot! The house was named both the "dream house" and the "fairy house" during the week we were there. We were 3 families together and it worked great. The bedrooms are naturally divided into 3 departments and the sizes of the rooms make it perfectly fine to children on air mattresses on the floor. The garden is like a small park where you just want to be a little more. And views of fields from many of the rooms are absolutely lovely. THANK YOU for us - we would love to vacation here again!

This is an amazing cosy countryside house to have a rest after busy day in Billund. House is well equipped and you feel there as comfortable as at home. It is full with gaming activities, so our kids never felt bored. Outside area is nice too. Check in and check out is convinient and instructions were clear. Michael was friendly and ready to help, definitely recommend!

We were six adults and four children (three families) who used Jens Jørgen's idyllic farm as a starting point for two days in Legoland, and it worked out great. There was plenty of space, a long table that everyone could sit around, a loft that the children played on and very beautiful surroundings. The garden is almost like a park. Jens Jørgen was very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen was admittedly small, but we managed to make dinner anyway. Moreover, it was not a long drive to the nearest town, which had several take-away options. All in all, we were very pleased. Recommended!

Very nice house with everything you need. Located in a small municipality with nice neighbors but you can also be alone without being disturbed. Quiet surroundings with many excursion destinations. Glad to come back!

Kirsten has been very kind to receive us with 30min notice. her place is really nice and the area perfect for the kids.

nice little bedroom, excellent shared bathroom, nice kitchen, living room and dining room. I saw birds in the garden, including the great tit and the yellow sparrow.

Sejersminde Bed & Breakfast is a simple but well equipped and recently renovated accommodation in a former stable on an old yard. I felt very comfortable there.

We had a great time at Bjarnes's place. Our daughters (5 & 8) had a lot of play opportunities, outside as well as inside. The house is quiet and well located, clean and well appointed, with a large garden all around. We felt like at home. There is a lot to do in the area: It is about 15 minutes by car to the beach in Saksild, and the garden of ecology in Odder (within walking distance), Fru Møllers Møllerie or excursions to Aarhus are also recommended. Communication with Bjarne was wonderful from first contact to checkout. We will be happy to come back!
