Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hove, Brighton and Hove

Booked this beautiful house for a hen do and had an amazing time - the open space kitchen/diner is perfect for entertaining, very clean and tastefully decorated! Emma was so lovely and welcoming, the perfect host - she got us checked in quickly, showed us around and was very easy to reach for any questions. Would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Such a beautiful place, our family loved the tree house, the lake and the boats. The wildlife were amazingly tame. Katherine and Alex were great friendly and communicative hosts. Highly recommend.

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

This was the perfect house for a family weekend together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather and enjoyed the comfortable garden furniture. The garden was safe for my toddler grand daughter. When we wanted to go out it was an easy walk to the Hove cafes etc and to the beach. We had a really relaxing time and would love to come again.

We LOVED our stay here and plan to come back when our dog ( currently a puppy) is big enough to enjoy the longer walks on offer in the area! Helen is one of the best Airbnb hosts we have met who sent us so many great tips in advance that we could have stayed a few weeks and prob not seen it all. We stayed at Ian's Airbnb lodge and had a lovely experience! Traveling with our toddler and baby, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable the house was. The cleanliness was outstanding, and we appreciated how well-equipped everything was, making our stay much easier with little ones. The ambiance was inviting, and it felt like a home away from home. We definitely recommend this lodge for families looking for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's place, tucked away in the Sussex countryside. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed - the hot tub was a real bonus and meant we could enjoy the outside space, despite the weather not being on our side! The place was easy to find, communication was great and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy getaway ✨

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

Charlotte was a fantastic host. The bottle of bubbly on arrival was a lovely touch too. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in Charlotte's interesting and well loved home. The hot tub and roll top bath provided a great way to relax after visiting the beach and town. As artists the artwork on display made for great conversation points too. We feel inspired. Xx

Great location, walkable distance to the station, to town, to amenities etc. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean. The place is exactly like on the pictures. The shower room is on the small size but the shower jet is strong enough to make up for it. We were only there for 3 days, we didn't cook and didn't need parking so I can't comment on that. I would happily book the same house again.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

We needed somewhere to stay while finding a place to live in London. The flat was excellent and well equipped for our needs. Great place to stay.

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay set in superb countryside. The gardens and facilities are great, and my son and I particularly enjoyed playing on the pool table. It’s definitely a place to revisit and we would recommend it 100 percent.

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

Alison was a fantastic host. Everything was explained and well communicated, any questions I had were answered at lightning speed. Our dog loved sitting and watching the ducks while we sat in the garden eating local farm products. - I 100% recommend! I didn’t know Airbnb disallow messages after checkout - I wish I could properly thank her again for a fantastic time.

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. Couldn’t have asked for more; it’s a beautifully crafted space set in a completely private part of the property, with a charming interior giving you everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub and outside features were a brilliant addition. Alexia and James couldn’t have done more to accommodate and made us feel really welcome. There are enough shops and walking trails nearby for convenience, and James gave us some great local advice. We were offered fresh milk and baked bread which was such a lovely touch. 100% recommend, we hope to return some day :)

Had a really lovely stay here! Would 100% recommend! We were really lucky with the weather. The views are stunning of the lake and the fields! We had a few furry friends come and say hello. If you’re not an animal lover they are very chill and leave you alone if you wish. The lodge itself was clean and tidy and very modern. It had all the basic kitchen wear and towels were provided! If you have hayfever bring ur own tissues! I always do as mines bad this time of year. There’s a lovely walk around the lake that you can do. Close to shops/petrol station. Shower was great. Bath was great. No shortage of warm water. BBQ and fire pit are a huge asset to the place and we absolutely loved the swing. We felt safe at night and plenty of windows for the warm weather. We paid for logs coal and early and late check in/out. All worth the money in my opinion! They have a spot by the lake where you can sit on sun beds! Very very relaxing! The owners were lovely and friendly and replied very quickly!

This is a beautiful gem of a place and extremely good value. The garden house is cosy and yet supremely functional. It has been well thought out. The kitchen is excellent with a gas stove, two ovens and an air fryer. There is an electric shower and large screen TV. The beds are very comfortable and up in the roof creating a very snug place for rest. I loved the place and will be back.

Absolutely brilliant Air BnB. Great location to visit Eastbourne, Brighton, Rye, Wakehurst etc though the track to it is pretty bumpy so not ideal if you are going out several times a day. However, we went out in the morning & back in the evening & it’s so quiet & peaceful when you are there, it didn’t bother us. Accommodation was exactly like the photos & was so well stocked e.g. welcome basket, milk, dish washer tablets, biscuits etc & they saved our bacon because we forgot dog bowls but there they were in the cupboard; absolutely brilliant 🤩 Extremely clean & beautifully decorated throughout with shampoo & shower gel included. Was made to feel really welcome & our little westie, Minnie, thoroughly enjoyed her week away as well. Probably one of the best Air BnBs we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return when we next visit Sussex 😊😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Really lovely cabin and location, perfect stay for us and two dogs with the enclosed garden really convenient for this. Very clear instructions on how to find and so peaceful and a great short walk into the forest. Would love to return again soon.

This is a truly special Airbnb that is very peaceful and well decorated. The indoor space is as beautiful as the woods outside. We had a few lovely dinners at the White Hart pub, which is in walking distance, and also recommend a nearby coffee shop/restaurant called Tyler's ground. Checking in and out was easy and Emma and Rowan were friendly with great information on the local area. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a quiet restorative trip.
