Monthly Rentals in Huglo

The host communicated and responded quickly where necessary. I liked the residence very much. Something about how the rooms were located and the furnishings. It was very well utilized. I felt comfortable in the apartment that had everything and more than one could expect, - after what one had been told through pictures and text. It was a great place to stay and sleep, incredibly quiet bedroom. Some images are often taken with a wide angle so that it will look extra large. There's no need for that. I was particularly impressed with a practical, smart, clean and well-kept apartment. You felt welcome, as soon as you locked yourself in.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

We had a great stay at Steinar’s house. It was an unplanned visit while we were on our way to another city. Steinar responded late at night and kindly helped us book the property. The instructions were clear, and the space itself exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
