The warmest of welcomes to a beautiful chocolate box cottage nestled in a stunning, peaceful location. Had the bonus of the spring lambs for neighbours and luckily great weather. The cottage has everything you need, private with easy parking. The log fire added to the ambience which took the nip off the cooler spring evenings. Cynthia and David are perfect hosts and make sure you are looked after. A wonderful time was had by all. Can’t wait to visit again.

Lots of local attractions, went to Wirksworth, Haddon Hall, Melbourne church and Calke Abbey in the two days stayed, all stunning … and lots more attractions in easy reach. Duffield is charming and has ample eating and drinking establishments plus Co-Op and newsagents in the village only steps away.

Craig's cabin is a perfect get away for a romantic long weekend. There are lots of spectular walks and pubs for the dog 🐾 and the cabin itself is incredibly peaceful with remarkable views. Myself and my partner were visiting the area for an event and needed somewhere to stay, this was perfect for us and Chloe and her partner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out as much as they could. The cottage was spotless, the bed was really comfortable and it has everything you need. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Thank you again!

Plenty of comms from the moment we booked. Beautiful location and a lovely welcome package from Sarah. Within minutes of arriving we were already looking when we can book to come back. Added bonus of meeting the alpacas while we were there too! Wonderful place run by wonderful people. Can’t wait to come back later in the year and continue to explore the area! Thank you!
