Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hungary

A gem found in Nagymaros, which was found by chance for us. The location is great and has a beautiful view. Extensive garden and a nice accommodation. The upper floor is a bit cramped for the somewhat taller person, but can be easily adapted. Neighbors and also owners of the residence are very friendly, offer privacy, but are also up for a nice conversation in which they have tips for the area. All in all, I would definitely book this again and this was a very nice experience.

Everything you need is in the house, even more spacious than in the pictures. Despite the spring weather, we caught an unexpected cold, thanks to the various heating options, it was still very comfortable.:) the view is beautiful and the access to the house is provided on good quality roads. Szilvi is very kind and flexible, thank you very much for letting us stay here:)

The small house is pleasant and matches its description and pictures. The environment is calm, green and close to nature. The house is spacious and well-equipped, ideal for a couple of days of relaxation. Everything for cooking can be found in the kitchen, which I was very happy about, as I like to cook myself even during holidays. A washing machine and dishwasher are also available to guests, making it easier to work around meals. The garden is nice and big and ideal for badminton and barbecuing. Overall, we had a great time and recommend the country to others who want to spend a few days in a relaxed environment at a fair price.

Absolutely FANTASTIC place to stay! We really could rest there, I would love to come back one day. Three bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, lovely place to eat in front of the house, parking on the property, great location - beautiful view on the city and center just 10 minutes walk from the house.

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in the middle of may. The house is beautiful, very tasteful decorated, and Franciska made sure to warm it up for us before arriving since this may was a little cold. Much appreciated! We didn’t spent a lot of time in Zebegény, but it is a very calm and beautiful little town. I do recommend exploring the cities around. Especially Esztergom and Budapest swept us off our feet. Franciska is super fast in replying every question we had a long the way. The neighbor dog looks tough and he wants you to think that he is. In reality, he’s actually a little nervous about new people. We talked to him a lot and he ended up making friends with us and our 2 year old daughter. Also, there are so many beautiful plants around the house - including a cactus in the bedroom. I do recommend removing said cactus if you have small children 😂 All in all, we recommend this place. The villa looked just like the pictures . We were a group of 14 ladies on a wellness retreat and the sleeping arrangements, the kitchen facilities , spa area , outdoor space for exercising were perfect . I stayed here for one night while traveling with my dog. I was warmly welcomed, and the place was incredibly peaceful and quiet – perfect for relaxing. I just needed a short break during my trip, and this spot was exactly what I was looking for. I slept very well, the surroundings are beautiful, and the accommodation itself is cozy and comfortable. I’d be happy to stay here again!

This is the best place to stay in Budapest! Eva’s home is next-level amazing. While it’s not brand new, it’s maintained so well that it’s actually cleaner and more comfortable than many new places. You can feel Eva’s heart and creativity in every little detail—she’s thought of everything to make guests feel at home (and then some!). She’s super friendly, incredibly thoughtful, and just an all-around lovely host. We were so comfortable during our stay, we almost didn’t want to leave. If you’re reading this, don’t even think twice. just book it😊 You won’t regret it.

Awesome apartment, loved having the piano! Close to everything

This is in the heart of Pest inner city, a legend. Do not be put off by the staircase and lift, this is an old building. The flat is renovated to an excellent standard and has everything one can wish for, 2 WCs and 2 shower rooms. Everything is on your doorstep or very close, the Danube, restaurants, shops, transport.

The apartment is fresh and elegant and the 6th floor balcony provides wonderful views up and down the Danube. We loved the sunsets behind Buda Castle, just stunning. Andrea helpfully provided a list of restaurant recommendations, local shops and some things to do and was very responsive.

I stayed here for two weeks and would have happily stayed longer. Not only is the view actually better than the photos suggest, but the entire apartment was larger than I expected too. The location is fantastic; just minutes from a metro stop, a large grocery store, and a few really good restaurants. I was quite happy to be on the Buda side. All the sights in Budapest are very spread-out anyway, so it seemed more important to have easy access to the metro. And being here helped avoid some of the drunken-tourist chaos in Pest. The apartment has a great shower, and a very comfortable bed (as long as you don't mind climbing in). The blinds darken the room well. Wifi was fast and never went down. The kitchen had everything I needed. The balcony gets direct morning sun, and stepping out there with coffee was a great way to start a day. Vilmos and his co-host were friendly and perfectly clear with all the information I needed. Highly recommend this place, especially for longer stays.

We had 4 wonderful days in this great accommodation. Very centrally located in Budapest, it is a perfect starting point to explore the city. When this comes to an end, the whirlpool and sauna await. The contact was great, the transfer from the airport was organized and we were also able to check in flexibly. All in all full 5 star. We will be happy to come back.

István was a great host who was very responsive and provided all the information we needed. The place was clean and matched the description. It’s around 30mins for the airport in a taxi. It’s around 20-30 mins walk from the centre. The Ruin bars and New York cafe are walkable distant as well. There are buses and trams right outside so easy to get around the city. There are lots of restaurants around the area or shops to pick up food and make in the apartment as it has everything you need. The shower is great and the bed is comfy. Thank you for a great stay and we would recommend you and your apartment in the future!

Overall, we liked the stay in the apartment very much. The apartment is beautifully furnished and very centrally located. There are many great restaurants nearby. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. Communication has always worked great - we have never waited more than 10 minutes for a response. We would love to come again and again. :)

Everything was very good, the apartment was impeccable and very comfortable. Good communication with the host always. Although it is not in the middle of all the attractions, it is in a quiet place and not so far away. You can do everything on foot.

We had a fantastic stay at Banyai’s place - perfectly central with the Grand Market just opposite the apartment. Easy access to public transport and multiple restaurants. The apartment was really comfortable and had everything we needed - the washing machine being particularly useful. Would definitely recommend as it was really good value for money to stay in such a building so full of character. Banyai was an incredibly helpful and welcoming host.

I had a fantastic 4-night stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a thoughtful and well-designed interior that made it feel like home. The location is excellent. Every major attraction was just a short walk away. Everything was pitch perfect. Highly recommended!
